Any word if In Gee kept the 7w and 9w in the bag?  Personally, I think the difference between these options (woods or hybirds at 19 and 22) are overblown.  Yet for those that are looking for slight differences and advantages week to week (i.e. a pro, not a hack), I think the smaller head and sole of the hybrids could work better this week due to many uneven lies/stance?

Toss up between Hye-Jin, and Hyo Joo. Anna having won here before and last week could keep form and make a run. Gotta take the Frenchie, Pauline for a dark horse. Sei Young has had some quality finishes, maybe she can get something going here again.

Likely I'll be very wrong, but I got a feeling the winner might completely off everyone's radar.

Their record are still far better than Yealimi Noh; but neither Patty Tavatanakit nor Yuka Saso have don't much since The Chevron Championship in early April.

Will one of them or both, contend this week?

Nana KM has been slacking of late too, I think she is better prone for a good finish

Can eagle-eyed folks help identify these LPGA tour pros...

(A) timestamp ~30s , from this fun LPGA video
... who is this Ping-sponsored player admitting she has been eating a lot of croissants this week i.e. "too many to count!")
..My guess = Caroline Masson?

(B) timestamp ~22s (wearing  PXG logos/ black attire ... "100 croissants"!💯  ... Jennifer Song )

(C) timestamp ~41s? (with the "Nexen tire", "Bibigo" and "WAAC" logos ... Link to the answer = here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLR7SZIXzNs)

Funny how Grant and Stark are not Swedish surnames.

Celebrate Euro 2020 GIF by Jake Martella

Grant got her surname from a Scottish grandfather pro golfer who immigrated to Sweden.

Stark got hers because she comes from a family of nudists.

Hinako has been dead quiet, especially after @Supermilodropped off the scene:

Nasa could break through for a major W this week. Nishimura + Saigo are dominating the JLPGA this year + Furue finished strongly here last year. Unsure why silver medalist Mone Inami skipped all the majors this year, her Rolex Ranking was good enough!

Ayaka Furue's extended LPGA battle with Hye Jin Choi offers us front row seats to view "The best of Japan" vs. "The best of Korea" comparison.

Currently, Hye Jin is leading "Rookie of the Year" race by a score of 787 to 271.

Ayaka's game was never as well suited to the LPGA as Choi's . . . I really like Ayaka's game, but she is the more traditional player regarding course management as she simply is not long enough to go for greens in two (Par 5's) on a reliable basis.   Average Driving Distance ( Ayaka = 248.58 yards to Hye Jin = 266.03).

Regardless, they are both great additions to the LPGA!  I'm encouraged by the increase in JLPGA players coming over to compete on the LPGA - and while the money is better than the JLPGA, I think it is the competitiveness and desire on the part of Ayaka, Hinako, etc. that look to compete on the LPGA.

Please Canadian posters,  I'm currently here enjoying NOTL until Fri and would love to watch. My Airbnb has roku. Any Advice on how to watch?

It will be on Golf Channel on Thurs and Fri and TSN on the weekend.  I know Sky Sports also usually piggybacks off GC during the Majors so if you have VPN, you should be able to watch it on Youtube on the Sky Sports channel.  Just make sure you set your VPN to the UK

@HankScorpio re SkySportsGolf UK 🇬🇧 ...fingers crossed 🤞!

usually Sky’s YouTube channel (https://youtube.com/c/skysportsgolf)

would allow you to set a reminder for Day 1/2/3/4 of the event... but I can’t seem to find the event reminders for Evian on YouTube today!

Yealimi Noh led both 2021 Amundi and AIG during the rounds, but couldn't finish the business.  Mentally, she should be ready to redeem herself.  The only question is whether her new putting stroke is enough to cure her perennial putting woes?

What has she done that makes you think she can/will contend? She hasn’t even been average as a pro.

There are hole-by-hole flyover videos (TV production quality?) for Amundi Evian available, via this PlayList: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLRNh3aOlPPa7wd4GZiRySvIBkIzQMguIS

Think I've seen these on TV i.e. these might be the same flyover course guides used for the TV broadcast?

The slight annoyance for the OCD among us = the holes in Amundi Evian's PlayList = Not in sequence!

Wake up this morning, and check out the leaderboard. Brooke, Jin Young, and Atthaya tied for the lead at their halfway point. Sung Hyun and Lydia a shot behind. 'Seem about right.
