LOL humility...gotta be bold to get people to look at your bag! The wedges actually have a golfworks made rubber tungsten pad. Each pad weighs 2 grams, so 1 SW point. I bought them initially when my guy ground my Miura for me and used 8 of them on just that wedge! I liked the feel of a little bit heavier swing weight so I threw them on the other wedges too. They work great for drivers and woods too, they're small enough to affect basically nothing and the rubber absorbs harsh sounds. Makes my old G20 driver sound amazingly muted!

They're a little ugly, but I much prefer the look of these tungsten pads to some messy lead tape. I had to take two pads off the Miura, which is why you see the adhesive residue on the two ends. When it was ground it lost a lot of weight so I had to get the swing weight back to normal ish.

Why do you lay out your bag like that?

I'm gonna guess you mean going from 3 wood to 3 iron, yes? Truth of it is that I'm not a very long hitter, unlike most of you folks. I've thought about using a hybrid instead of a 3 iron but strangely I hit it really well and it fits my gap nicely.

I'm not sure what you mean? What's the proper way of putting clubs in a stand bag?

Maybe, but these puppies sure do perform. Lots of tour validation too. Thinking about upgrading to the new generation though, the same combo would be sweet. But I'm really trying to save up for some Epon irons. I've read those have the hottest faces available and I could use more distance.

Only on WRX can you get criticized for the way you put your clubs in a stand bag.

How is the way I put my clubs in the bag wrong? I'm genuinely lost.

Thanks! The putter is really amazing. From my experience with the putter, I've come to believe two things about putting. First is that everybody could use some more forgiveness. Second, that more people should use a mallet with a nice alignment aid. Looks aside, and this putter has some amazing looks, there's nothing better than making more putts.

I agree about the putter but then I am going to contradict myself. I've never putted better than with the Versa #7 I have now. I did just buy a Newport though image/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> so we'll see how that goes.

As for your bag, i'm assuming it is because you have your woods at the bottom of the bag and the putter at the top where alot of other people would generally do that the other way around.

Oh I didn't know that's how it's meant to be. Just assumed longer goes in longer pocket. I'll try that next time and see how I like it.

the proper way to put clubs in a bag is to put odds on one size and events on the other side...if you con't come up with an odd number sideways, it will cause an inbalance in the force...and also make sure that the face of each club faces the face of another club otherwise, you will nick the back of your irons....I suggest rubber iron covers.

I liked your title, some of these guys don't have much of a sense of humor. Bag is sweet too! Those weights definitely stand out as opposed to just throwing some lead tape on there! Love the putter, that's my favorite part of your set.

Oh man, I'm excited for you. It's just so unbelievably stable. Driver had always been the weakest part of my game. I genuinely worked hard at it in the offseason, practicing good positions in a mirror, swinging slow without a ball, etc., but I have to give a ton of credit to a perfectly fit shaft. That and the shorter length has worked wonders for my game. I'm probably about 5-10 yards shorter than I'd like to be, but I'll take the fairway all day every day over the rough and the fescue.

LOL thanks, I needed some guys to break the ice! I thought about lead tape but these tungsten pads were 1) a lot cheaper per swingweight point 2) cheaper overall. If you've got a swingweight issue on your driver and want to make it quieter, throw a few of these on there. It'll set the weight proper and make your driver sound tour issue.

I can't rave enough about the putter. I practiced putting A LOT indoors and decided to stick with this puppy. I love the non-glare finish from address position but nice and glossy everywhere else. Between the game changers of working on my swing extensively indoors and this putter, I'm really hoping to get down into low single digits soon.

I'll take that as a good thing, thanks! I don't have the game to play MBs through the set, maybe some day.
