Thoughts?

Well the Callaway Chrome line has Urathane covers and comes in at about $31, so unless the ball is in the $20-$25 range and from a known company, it will be harder to push to the public.. I hear good things about Volvik, but hard to fond and their price point is too high... So, let's wait and see what mystery ball he is talking about....

70 pounds seems heavy for a golf ball.

I've tested the Chrome +, and I didn't think it spun that much around the green.

Well that sucks. 8 minutes of my time not to find out which ball is the one that's not considered a premium ball but behaves as one and cost much less.

I want answers

8 minutes of my life that I'll never get back. Just tell us what ball it is for cryin' out loud.

My guess is either the e5 or Project (a). Both urethane. Both $31 or less. Both would have equal spin to a tour ball around the green. No?

[/quote]You just may be right. I played the proto 33 (project a) a few rounds already and I find that it spins about the same as the TP5.

I think it is either Project a, chrome +

I can't imagine Bridgestone or Taylor Made stooping to this level of marketing. It must be some low level company trying to excite buyers.

Golf digest already proved it. Project a has as much 1/2 wedge spin as any other tour ball it just had more driver spin as well.
The e5 was very close to the tour balls in 1/2 wedge spin. So if its one of these its old news

Has anyone tested these?

It would seem odd for one of the biggies to market this way against their flagship urethane ball....but dude's wearing a Nike windshirt...hmmmmm

After hearing about the ad333 Tour i change my prediction. Especially since the tester had an English accent. The UK seemed to love the original AD333.

Going to agree with you....since I can't find anything about a Nike urethane in this price range.

I thought about that, too. He didn't have to wear that
cover up with the swoosh staring at us. I think it is a
not so subtle clue that something new is coming from
Nike.

Talk about a tease. Hopefully this thread will be updated with the reveal.

I'm pretty sure Nike has nothing to do with this. James Ridyard, who's the guy in the video, has a series of short game DVD's out. I believe he's on the Nike staff, but I would guess the reason he's waiting to reveal the ball is it's most likely not Nike and his deal with them is about to run out. Again, purely speculation on my part.

I thought in the video it said to be revealed some time in May.

Intriguing, but I have doubts that a non-premium ball could really stack up to a premium ball in all aspects. You get what you pay for, as with anything.

How do you keep a golfer in suspense??/

My thoughts? Why was this posted? Irrelevant, zero information, waste of time video. Nothing was said that isn't already known. Such as... different golf balls behave differently from each other. No feces Sherlock.

I did a poor job in the OP. I've been hearing some talk about a company that was about to release a ball that could "change everything". Much like every 6 months a driver comes put that's 20 yards longer I just blew it off as hype. Then I saw this video and it got me wondering if there was any truth to these rumors.

Watched the video again. Can't be the new AD333 tour because it isn't sold in the U.S. yet and he says in the video that he's seen it on U.S. websites for $30 dzn. So we're back to Project A or E5? Chrome+ or FG Tour(2013)?

Why buy the project a when you can have the Lethal for less money & a premium ball coolness. Ok, ok...so I can live with "Practice" stamped on it...
