Today, I just picked up a $95 TP Mills Tradition II mid center shaft. This was the putter that started all the ho'ing. I just had to have it back after dumping it 4 years ago.

So who's buying what and what are you using to start the season off ?

In the last week or two I've bought a Ping Piper C & a BWB Versa #7. I'm starting with my Odyssey Protype #5 though.

This year I brought a ping nome tr and then got a ping ketsch.

Picked up an IBBF from a wonderful member here this week.

Considering our season hasn't officially started yet here....I have also added a Betti, NC, and 4 SC. One of them better perform this year....cuz I can't bench them all at the same time...haha.

White Hot Pro 7 center shaft. Pretty big departure from what I'm used to, but it seems to be working out quite well.

Just bought another mil spec 350, a Scotty Masters notchback, Bettinardi Hogan 53 LE raw unfinished sample paper weight, Odyssey Tour Issue #7,

and hopefully something made of CU soon.

Versa Sabertooth bought yesterday!

I have been waiting for my Maranello Ghost tour to be built and shipped for the past 25 days so in the mean time I purchased a Yes Callie MB

It has been about a week, but the only putter I have bought in quite some time was purchased because the deal was too good. It is a BeNi PING Scottsdale Anser. Not anywhere near the putter ho I was, back in the day, but when you see a classic at a great price, it is almost an instinct to figure out a way to get it. Mine was all done with credit that sort of helped the shop I was in.
Cool putter, great classic lines and no longer in production. All reasons that I told myself to justify the purchase.

Boomer, any update on your Scratch putter?

Started the season playing a Versa #9 wbw. I had a custom Slighter Proto made.

#9 high toe, long neck, 33", 370 grams, black shaft.... and I love it!

Just ordered a new Never Compromise Dinero Exec. After watching ebay for 2 months looking for a cheap Nike method I gave up and ordered this NC for $88 new shipped.

I've sold a few, but bought a couple, but the one's I've bought were better bargains. The most recent addition is a Rife Iconic Vault 001. Gamed it 3 times this season. The first time out the dot threw me a bit as I've been a sight line guy, the last two times out I've noticed that my line has been better with the dot than the line (I brought a sight line putter both rounds to compare accuracy). Got a good deal on it from RBG, so far it looks to be one of the front runners to be in the main rotation.

Ping Ketsch...time will tell if it knocks my SeeMore FGP out of the bag.

Picked up a Mizuno Mettinardi C-01 in spotless shape from a secondhand bin for 40 bucks. Taking it out for a spin tomorrow

2 Scotty Cameron Classics newport, SC Art of Putting Newport 2.

I've kind of gone off the deep end in the last few weeks, an Odyssey Dual Force 882 that I've refinished,highly polished and will probably sell, an Old Master 802 that I've refinished, torched, then gunblued and put a Flatso Mid on that I'm currently gaming,forged makes a difference in feel to me,love it, a Rife Bimini tropical that I reshafted and put a Winn ProX 1.18, played a few times, not my favorite but I'll keep it, a Gentle Ben 802 style that I refinished and torched,will probably sell, and a Never Compromise GM2 eXCHANGE # 5 that I refinished, torched, reshafted and played with quite a bit, I put a stepless belly putter shaft in it that I cut down to about 33" and the extra thickness of the shaft wall has really added some weight to it that makes it feel so incredibly stable, I took all the weights out of the head because it just didn't need anything else, it's almost am opposite of counterbalancing, light grip with a heavy shaft and around 330 weight head, it's been great. There's another but I can't think of it right now.
