ECCO Tour Hybrid WingTip - Anyone tried?

Anyone tried these out yet? I know that they are relatively new but was wondering how the fit is, how close to a dress shoe they are, fitwise etc... I know ECCO's spikeless shoes are awesome and surprisingly a large amount of grip just wondering as to how these fit.

funny you should ask, I literally took delivery of that exact pair today; haven't had a chance to try them out on the course yet, but my first impression is that the fit is slightly wider, but still fine in your normal size; the color is a little funky, kind of like a painted on distressed grey, not quite what I was thinking when I bought them; they were quite comfy just walking around the house; the red shoestrings that came with the shoe didn't seem quite like the right color, but I have plenty of other laces I can test on them; I only paid $129 vs the $240 list, so I am happy with the bargain; hope that info helps!

oh as to your question on dress shoes, I think you could either dress up or down with these on the golf course depending on your mood/clothes (but I don't think they look like proper work dress shoes, if you are thinking of giving them dual duties); like I said the color is a little odd...it really does almost project a painted on look

A mate of mine has them in the black and red soles and he loves them. They look really good too. Classy but modern.

I've been wearing them as a shop shoe the past year and they are fantastic. Enough room in the toe box but as with most Ecco shoes check the size as I have to go down in their Euro sizing versus what they say the US equivalent is. The shoe itself though offers great cushioning, leather quality is great and I get a ton of compliments on them. As was mentioned before, classy look but with a modern look all the same. I have the brown colour way.

I have the brown pair wear them all the time.

This is the most comfortable and stylish wingtip I have ever worn. The brown pair I have goes with about anything. Great shoe all around.

I have the brown ones as well. I like them and use them every time I think it might be wet. They are stable and look great! I have fairly narrow feet but these fit me comfortably. In dry days, I like lighter shoes with a minimum sole though. Just a little more feel for me.

I don't play golf in mine. I just wear them. I have em on right now:! I am going to get the grey ones as well.

Absolutely LOVE my pair. I have all four color ways, wear them on the course and in the office and I especially got great comments on the white and the grey pairs. You can easily wear these with pants or shorts on course, I prefer shorts actually. It just makes my outfit a little nicer with the design on the shoes.

If I have a big commision month.. .we are getting a pair fo sho!

What about for someone with a wide foot? Typically get the Lunars or anything for that matter in a W....

May I ask where you found the bargain? I'm interested at $129, much less so at $240.

Budgetgolf.com had a sale two weeks ago and it was around that price. I wish I pulled the trigger on that as I want these shoes now as well!!

it was a limited time offer special at budgetgolf...they are now back at 189 there; sometimes you just get lucky and find the discount sellers with special sales! fwiw, I played with them Tuesday for the first time, and I did get 2 blisters on my left heel; i'm kind of a tenderfoot, so others will likely fare better than me on immediate wear issues, but for my soft feet, they need some breaking in time and readily available bandaids

CRAP... I would buy them today at 129..... cant justify another 200 dollar pair of shoes....

Like the comfort of ECCO shoes but they are so ugly!

Imma orderin them!

I have found they are too narrow for me and I wear a wide in most shoes, especially dress shoes and golf shoes.

How does the grey look? anyone have a pic they can post? The online pic makes it look like a black shoe with a broken in worn look. I want this shoe just can't decide which color. Ill be wearing with shorts most of the time. What colors do you all like? thanks!

The gray looks like a black shoe covered with shiny silver spray paint. I had a pair but returned them because the color (while cool) was not for me. I thought it was going to look worn/distressed, but I'd describe it more as a shiny metallic silver finish reminiscent of crinkled tin foil.

The caramel brown is a great color for spring/summer. Black and white are standard. The brown or black would transition fine from the office to the course on casual days. I found them to fit a bit more snug than the biom gtx in the same size (43). I'd likely go up to the 44.

Tried one on at the PGA Tour Superstore and it felt great. I like these. Will probably get some eventually.

the grey is a WHITE shoe... then "whitewashed" with black on top.. giving it a distressed silver/grey look...



looks great with navy blue or black...

here's a pic of the shoe; I replaced the rust colored laces that came with the shoe with an aqua blue, and it really improved the look of the shoe

my wife hates the oranges laces.. i am going to try to get a pair of grey ones..
