Appalachian Leather Works

Awhile back I came across a post on scorecard holders and there was a reply from a fellow WRX'er mentioning that they had bought one from Appalachian Leather Works. It looked nice so I went to their website (http://www.appleatherworks.com) to check out what they had to offer. I didn't need a scorecard holder, but I had been looking for a wallet/cash cover for a few days. Fortunately for me they also made cash covers and I then saw that they took payments with PayPal. Since my Ho-ing has been reduced after acquiring all the gear I needed, I said why not.

I decided to customize a croc cash cover with white and green stitching (Go Green) and I came up with this awesomeness.

The quality is absolutely fantastic! Holds about 10 cards and a bunch of bills and still fits in the front pocket. Customer service was amazing and the cover came with a personalized "Thank You" card.

I think I've got a new source for Christmas/Birthday gifts.

It is a very nice holder, looks well made, and I like the fact that it's "local".

Ordered a cash cover a few weeks ago after reading about them on this site.

Ordered a cash cover earlier this spring. It came in about two weeks and the quality is second to none.

I'll echo the raving fans.... decided to splurge for a nice yardage book cover and went with Appalachian. Couldn't be happier with mine. Fantastic work!

Quality is outstanding.

Sent Chris a note the other day and haven't heard back yet. I know the site says they are moving, just curious if anyone knows if there is a delay from them or when the move will be complete.

Ordered this cover that was already made and ready to ship last Wednesday and got it in the mail today. Super fast response about personalizing with initials. There will be more orders in the future!!!

I ordered one May 3 and have not received it yet. I have sent several emails and only got one replay about two weeks ago saying they about a week behind. I understand that custom stuff takes time put I'm really disappointed with the of lack updates

For these prices I can see why they are behind. That being said, it is no excuse for poor communication.

If you read through the thread you could see Chris had replied to some of the members and sent some PMs. For some reason his account has been marked as spam? Mods can you explain this?

I can vouch for Chris. I had the pleasure of meeting him last fall and he is a great guy. His work ethic and attention to detail are phenomenal. I can assure you he won't send product out unless it's 100% perfect.

anyone know what the name of the color is for the 'Tiffany Blue' cash cover (picture of one in the gallary on their site) as I cannot find it in there color choices....Also, odd question, but are these wide enough to fit Canadian bills? I know the CDN bills are a bit wider than American bills....

Sent them an email today to see if I can get a status updated.
