You can check Golf Digest's spin charts but they do not cover all of the available balls. I have had success as an 18 HCP with the Gamer Tour and have played the Lethal, RBZ U, and ProV1x. The Gamer Tour appears to have the least sidespin even on some of my mishits. It is very good around the greens but does not have quite the spin of the ProV1x or Lethal.

The tilt of the spin axis is determined by the user. The ball hot list has pretty much proven every year that urethane balls spin more off of the driver and wedges. Ionomer cover balls spin less off both too. So I guess you would be looking for the lowest spin urethane ball but regardless of the cover type the ball itself can't fix the spin axis that you put on the shot.

Read the golfwrx home page reviews for all Titleist balls - there's spin numbers there - a starting point

If I'm putting a 50yd slice on it then of course not. Balls like the e6 do help with slight corrections but are horrible around the greens.

B330RX is the straightest urethane ball I have ever hit off the tee. Not the greatest spinning ball around the greens, but still pretty good IMO though. Chrome and Chrome+ are good options too, but the + having a little less spin off the driver. Makes it even better that they are both under $30. I would be wary of becoming too attached to either Chrome ball though, because their future in the Callaway line-up seems a little bit murky. RBZ U (now called Project a) is a really straight ball too, feels soft around the green and off the putter, but that soft feel does not necessarily equate to spin with them on short shorts into the green. Wilson Tour FG also is a good option also. I think it is the only ball that comes close or even beats the ProV1 in the softness category, but unlike the Prov1 it doesn't spin like a top off the driver, but spins almost as good on the greens. You can find last years models for dirt cheap in WalMart and Target.

The Volvik S3 White Color is the longest straightest ball I have played since teeing up a topflite. Not to mention the stopping power of the ball alone would be enough to play it. You will be amazed by the performance and with free shipping fight now they fall inline, price point wise, with every other ball. Has what you are looking for off the tee and everywhere else as well.

In theory, BP above is mostly right that the ball doesn't know the difference between sidespin and backspin. What you want then is a ball that spins less on harder shots. Maybe the ball doesn't "know" how hard it is hit either, but by using multiple layers in the ball, they can engineer a ball which responds somewhat differently for harder hits.

So short answer is I think you may have trouble beating the 5-piece Taylormade Lethal. Have you tried the Taylormade Tour Preferred and Tour Preferred X? The X should have less spin than the regular. Also look at the newer 2014 version of the Wilson FG Tour, which is now a 4-piece ball (and should have lower driver spin than the older version), as well as the new Nike RZN Black, another 4-piece.

Srixon xv. Great ball are far as low spin goes. Might be a little hard unless you swing above 110.
Good luck.

All balls are designed today to spin less off the tee. Sadly I wish they all spun more, I find it almost impossible to work the ball off the tee these days, everything wants to fly straight.

Honestly if you are spinning the ball too much off the tee it's not the ball, you either have serious swing issues or are using a driver that is ill-suited for your game. PGA tour player swing the club 120 mph, and they don't spin the ball too much off the tee. Finding a ball this day and age that has less side spin is one part marketing BS and one part "not enough to make a significant difference."

The B330RX (not the RX-S) is a good choice. Spin is an engineered property of golf balls. There is a difference among urethane balls but not a whole lot. That being said, it can make a difference between your drive landing in the rough and landing in the woods.

Some believe, and Callaway has marketed, that the hex dimples on Callaway balls reduce drag and so make them less prone to slicing / hooking off the tee. Also good in the wind.
