You change to a different golf ball mid-round and what happened?

I usually stick with one type of ball during a normal round. But thru 11 holes I wasn't able to get anything going so just for kicks I switched from my Rocketballz (a ball I actually like) and put a ProV1 into play.

I had an underwhelming 44 on the front, then doubled and tripled 10 and 11. Proceeded to play the last seven holes one over with the ProV. I can't say the ball had anything to do with my better play but kind of interesting nonetheless. (I play to an 11 and the course slope was 134.)

Anyone else have something like this happen?

last week I changed mid round and my luck changed. I went from Callaway to Bridgestone and the second 9 was so much better. For some reason I play better with the Bridgestones. Just fits my game.

I will change if I feel I am having bad luck with a ball. I always do better with the change!!!

Just today, I was playing hex black, rather poorly I might add. I switched to an sr3 on the 7th hole (a par 3). I birdied the hole. Pure coincidence though, as I continued to play the remainder of my round equally poorly with the sr3...

I shot 37 in league Monday night with a TP X. Usually play V1x but tried a sleeve of these and like them. Got a ton of rain during the week and had some V1s so I thought I'd use them since I wasn't going to get any roll anyways and it was pretty cold.

Started with a double, par, par, double, then a SNOWMAN disaster on 5. Was thoroughly flustered and grabbed out the TP X from Monday night and put it into play on 6. Par, par, birdie (lipped out eagle chip) and par to finish -1 in last 4 holes compared to 8 over in first 5.

Had absolutely nothing to do with the ball and everything to do with having been rushed to get to the course after work, not warming up, and a recurring pinched nerve that popped up again on Wednesday and was bothering me a little in the cold. Finally got loose and played like I can.
