Settle an argument for me between the Wife and I

She says I have too many golf balls, I say I don't have enough. Well? :golfer:

With that said I have a ton of golf balls also. They are all sitting in a big box. Nice collection

Like others have said, wife is always right all the time.
Tell her you will "sacrifice yourself" & play alot more golf this season to reduce the golf balls inventory just to make her happy! ;-)

By the way, I thought playing with the same golf ball would help one's score due to having it being a given consistant factor. Different brands / models don't lend to this credo.

Not that smart ... it's taken me over 17 years of marriage to learn it.

Kind of like tools----you can never have too many.

However 30+ years of marriage----when you are right, you are wrong & when you are wrong just shut the hell up fast.

One can never have too much ammunition in the arsenal.

I think you have maybe 1 dozen too many. Possibly 2.

I take it that you have not been married very long and are not familiar with the old 50-50-90 rule*.


That if a husband has a 50-50 chance of being right, there's a 90 percent chance he'll be wrong.

Do women really have the right to complain about this stuff, provided you can reasonably afford it, when purses, shoes, handbags, and whatever cost a fortune? What happens if you bring that up? Again, if you're going hungry or something, that's one thing, but if it can be accounted for through your discretionary budget, you figure she would be stoked you're not spending it on booze, strippers, or whatever else.

Just put them in plastic storage containers in the garage. She'll be impressed on your organizational skills and forget about the balls!

I like that you have 3 sleeves of Polara balls near the top ready to game....

Why you would let your wife see those balls I'll never know.

Since you're the one playing with those balls and not her, they should be tucked away somewhere, unexposed.

Throw them in a 5 gal bucket. The shiny boxes are taking up too much space. Then tell her the bucket is full of shags you found on the course.

I have a similar but a bit smaller collection; my wife doesn't notice them because of the five golf bags of extra clubs right next to them.
