How far do you hit your 3 Hybrid?

My 19° is usually good for 215 on the carry.

I haven't tried a 15°, but I did play my last few years of high school and first year of college with a 14° TaylorMade Rescue Mid TP. Nice alternative if you prefer hybrids to fairway woods, and you can probably get one dirt cheap nowadays.

I no longer carry a 19*, but I used to hit it about 220. I carry a 17 now and have been hitting it around 240. How far you hit them isn't a big deal, as long as your gaps are manageable.
thats the problem i'm having. I can carry my 5 iron about 190-195ish but i struggle with the 4. then a huge jump with the 19*. I'm looking to to get a 15, 19, 22 hybrid set to get better distance gaps.

Baha, yes sir I did! Multitasking with the Indy-Miami game leads to inaccurate typing.

I have an RBZ 19* Hybrid that I can absolutely bomb. I hit it 230-240 on well stuck shot. I find this odd because I can only hit my 3w about 250. what about you? also anyone have any experience with a 15* Hybrid? I'm thinking about trying one out.
I have the exaxt same problem. i hit my 19° 230 240ish and i dont really hit driver much because i dont know whixh fairway its going to land in.

I might get a 17° or learn to hit my driver better amd learn to get maximum yardage out if it.

215 yards from the turf with my 20 degree G25, and sometimes quite a bit more from a tee. A buddy has the RBZ 19 as well, and when I hit it that thing is a monster. I just have a hard time getting the RBZ in the air, so I didn't buy one. For frame of reference my driver clubhead speed is about 103 to 105 mph.
Its the only hybrid I have hit so i wasn't sure if it was just hybrids in general or the RBZ itself. that thing IS a MONSTER (at snap hooks)! I also am a 103mph. at least on the launch monitor. However when Im on the course i think i swing much harder.

Seriously though, I hit my 3 hybrid (Ping Anser) about 220.
that last post was good. wasn't sure if you were just internet trolling. I've been hearing a lot about the Anser's on this site. Where does that line of clubs fall into Ping's other clubs? are they between G and I ?

Hit my XTD 19* hard draw about 220 but IF my high cut decides to work I'll use a smooth swing and hit it 205. My tendency is to hook or hard draw everything if my swing is off... very aggravating.
SAME HERE MAN!!! sometimes i can't even hit a 1 inch fade when i'm trying to hit a HUGE banana slice. When i was a slicer i used to wish that i could hit a hook. boy was i wrong. definitely aggravating.

I cut mine down and have a steel shaft in her so I get 205-210(19*)...just like I needed since it replaces a 3i. Always an easy swing too...save the juice for the driver.

It's all about filling gaps....nothing else matters

For Me
D=290-320
5W=220-230
3H=205-210

I don't carry a 3W so that I can have an extra wedge. I would much rather have that extra wedge than go for long par 5s in 2.

I average 250 with my Mizuno MP650 19* with Fubuki AX400h. I have hit it 280 with a tailwind for my second shot into a par 5 and hit one just about 300 with serious wind on the opening par 4 at my course in Omaha. I have found the holy grail of hybrids for me!
thats incredible. I can't even...

What BufflaoJones said. They're very solid feeling hybrids that sit just a tad open. They're not super forgiving, but they're not super tough to hit either. And they look sexy which doesn't hurt. Anser drivers are great and the irons are SUPER expensive. That's all I know.

sometimes that happens. I have a Titleist 913H 19* that I can move to around 245 or so when well struck. As a result, I carry a 13.5 degree 3 wood. I very rarely use my 3 wood from the fairway. If I am going after a par-5 in two and I am more than 240 yards out still, it's not worth the risk in my opinion. I would look into getting a stronger 3 wood.
