    Ha - thanks!

So I played Callaway wedges last year but didn’t love the feel at all. I put an old 52 deg Mizuno back in the bag and remembered why I love their wedges so much. With the 919T PW I really need a 50 deg though, so I went hunting for new Mizunos and came across these instead at a great price. Haven’t even hit them yet, but they feel weighty to me, which I love in wedges.

Beautiful look at address... Like a teardrop Mizuno, but with a less-rounded leading edge.

    How are the F5's?
Just got my C300 Forged yesterday but Hurricane Golf has a set of F5's for 399.99 brand new that have me very tempted to buy as a backup set.

I love the F5s. These are the first forged irons I have ever hit and I cannot believe how great they feel. Coming from SLDR irons I give up a few yards in total distance with the move to more traditional lofts but the accuracy is much improved.

The only criticism I have so far, and this is my fault, is that I don’t love the S300 XPs. They’re fine, but I prefer the KBS shafts that I have tried. I purchased these irons individually, so I got three irons with KBS Tour S, three with DG XP S300, and the 7 iron with C-Taper S. I prefer both KBS shaft options but could still happily play the S300s.

I don’t know how you feel about used sticks, but for a backup set I would also check Global Golf. A few weeks ago I saw a used set for like $280.

Got the matching Ouul Alligator head covers today.

Dang. That's a good looking bag. How did you do the numbers on the DBM irons?

Thanks! It was really easy...used a spray on paint remover...toothbrush to get all the paint out...then used shiny black nail polish to darken all the numbers and engraved areas. Nail polish remover to wipe off any excess. The nail polish has held up well to fill in numbers in other irons so it should in these as well.

Got this today on a golf trip.Didn’t have the original HC or grip on it but that’s ok, I’ve already cut the grip off. One of the locals had it in the pro shop for sale.

Well, I hit a couple of chips in the basement last night with the 56 and it sounded really clicky to my ear... not the forged sound at all.

All was forgiven when I took them to the range this morning. My approach game is strong right now, so my goal was simply better gapping with the 50, and no loss of accuracy. Well, the 50 fills the gap to my 919T PW perfectly and both wedges sound MUCH better than I expected; even with range balls. Not quite Mizuno, but good.

Very happy with these wedges on looks and performance, though I think your S18s are the superior wedges overall.

Kuro Kage and Bettinardi were purchased, the F9 was a warranty replacement. For some reason the pictures are all mixed up, I’m far too lazy to fix it.

Better than expected with awesome ball speed...
Personally prefer the feel compare to the newer M series drivers, a close resemblance to M2.
Definitely deep face, might need to put a good swing to hit it off the turf.

and drawing more money from the pocket. New Mizuno T20 looks good as mix of T7 & S18 with Boron.

    One of these.

    So my bag now includes:

The two 58* wedges will be fighting for a slot in the bag depending on the season and their effectiveness.
