This is a surprisingly good ball. Good for distance, better for feel, especially on the putter face. It doesn't want to spin much, so don't ask it, but overall, it is a very good ball.

Got a sleeve of these to try out. They felt too soft for me off the driver and I had no feel from the putter. The length was good off the driver, but I did not get that feedback sound from my driver that says "you hit the sweet spot", although it did hit the sweet spot several times and it was long.

I felt that I had to kill it with the putter to get it to move and that took all my confidence away when I was putting.

Gave them away to a playing partner who says he can tell no difference from his mixed bag of balls.

For me all around dead feel and I do nto think they lived up to all the hype and great review I have read.

I was pretty impressed with this ball considering what most other TopFlite balls have been. It certainly has a very soft feel; and if anything, a bit too soft. I did like it when putting on fast greens. This ball is definitely in the long category; easily equaling the distance of most other "premium" balls on the market.

The only real drawback is the lack of spin around the green. It just isn't going to come back for you much, no matter how hard you try. If it could be re-done with a bit better cover material, I think it would increase feel and spin ratio enough to make it a solid contender. And for the price ... by far the best "budget" ball out there.

I used these for a while when I wasn't playing great. I really liked the feel of this ball, wow. Soooo soft. But the ball didn't feel great off of the putter, unfortunately. As mentioned, it doesn't have much spin around the greens, but it holds well for such a cheap golf ball.

For the price, I will give it 5 stars.

I'm not a super serious player, so I figured this would be a decent ball to try that wouldn't break the bank. I don't have much expereience with many different types of balls, but these are by far my favorites. Super soft with comparable distance. I love them.

Tried them out today..pretty much the same feedback as the ProVx..maybe a little less spin, but less spin is better for me. I would say distant wise, I would say its the same as the Pro V as well. 9/10 for me...good ball.

I have played with these for the last couple of rounds. Except for a lack of spin, they are pretty good balls. They feel great off the driver, irons and putter. Distance is comparable to the Pro-V1x that I usually play (I hit both balls back to back off the tee and in the fairway and (assuming I made decent contact) distance differences were minimal.

The biggest downside to this ball is the lack of spin off of my wedges. They just don't have enough spin to hold on firm, fast greens.

Other than that, great ball for $1/ball

Good ball for a golfer on a budget. I shot a 73 this weekend with it(blues/6,800yds). Only down fall is NO BITE. Alot of bump run around the greens. Nice off the club face and putter.

For balls below $20 a box these are outstanding value and performance. They seem to go pretty long...and are very workable around greens with good spin for my type of game. Feel off putter is not too soft nor too crisp and about right. Scuff when hitting my MP-R 56* a lot but a good all around ball that does not sacrifice distance much at all from its DISTANCE brethren.

Not really a WOW ball for me, but for $15 it's a pretty solid ball. Didn't play that long for me, nor all that soft.

nothing better for the price, bar none. of course they don't spin as much as proV's, but they will check around the greens (check and release, but check none-the-less). I don't dislike them off the putter, and I've found good consistency for bump and run type shots. they don't back up with a full wedge, but they also don't run through the green with a 4 iron.

basically with this ball I NEVER have those "that wouldn't have happened with a better ball" situations we all hate so much.

Never liked topflite balls and never will. when you play a course and you check areas of the course for lost balls (bush. fence row, ditches, water holes), guess what kind of ball you most likely will find?

no offense skully, but I find as many Callaway and Titelist in the bushes as TF. Finding them in the bushes is not an indicator of how good the ball is but rather how poor their owners hit them. Those that wont play TF balls are those that have not tried the new D2 versions.

Completely and totally agree with Brock's comments. TF D2 is a great value and a great ball. I would be playing it if it was twice the cost. Don't leak that to TF. I am interested in The Gamer. Have not seen it yet. But then again, I stocked up on a season's worth of D2 inventory. As golf gear goes, my ball decision is done.

Dirt... sounds like you agree more with Brock than disagree. I went from NXT to Staff 50 to D2 Feel. I quite like the way it feels off the putter (better than the NXT and 50). I will have to lose a lot less golf balls to consider something else. (c;

Well I have become a better golf ball finder then golfer lately. I think I have become obsessive. My local course has so woods/bushes and when I get a slow group I look around. What have I been finding most lately...Titleist. A few Nikes too.

I have tried recently Pinnacle Exceptions and Wilson Smartcore plus D2 Straight. The D2 is a really nice ball. Long and straighter than most. Works off the irons and wedges are okay. Putting requires a little practice but is good.

i have forgotten how good this ball is/was. bought a box today for $12.99 today and played a round and was ohy so pleased. goes straight, no distance loss and putts fabulous. doesnt get any better for the $$

Are they being discontinued? Anyway, check your local walmarts (may be in a different aisle than golf section - mine was near the fishing poles). But at $6 for 15 decent quality balls, that i like, i'm stocking up.

I ran over to my local Wal-Mart. They're $14.96 just like they are on their website. I don't know what's up with your Wal-Mart. But, apparently it's not at all Wal-Marts.

I really wanted to like this ball after reading all of the reviews. This ball just didn't do it for me. Maybe I was expecting too much. I might try it again if I can ever find them cheap.

I go outside to smoke and I have a putting cup and some old balls out there in a bucket. I picked out 3 and putted the 1st two which where Callaway Hot Bite and a Volvik , but the 3rd one really bounced off the face and was very quiet. I picked it up and it was a Top Flite D2 Feel. Then I bit into it to test the hardness of the cover. It was pretty soft. I never hit this ball but it pops off the putter face pretty good. What compression are they ? Is it a distance ball or a spin ball ? I might give em a try.

Has to be one of the best balls for the price. The only thing I like better (for the price) is the $19.99 Gamer, but that's 2 piece vs. 3 piece. I played the Feel a bit last year and LOVED it off the driver, it was nice off the irons and alright off the wedges. Not the best around the greens, but neither is the Gamer. Loved it off the putter. Felt very soft. Again, for the price, you can't beat it.

I've shot a 69 the first time a played one with a ball in the water. Then I shot 3 consecutive rounds under par too so maybe I was just hitting it well. LOL

This is a really good ball for the price. I'm surprised the ratings aren't higher. Yes it doesn't check, but were you really expecting this ball to do so? Your top bargain ball. My only dislike is the O's in every dimple, just a visual tidbit.

Few Targets around me have D2 Feel (Targets didn't carry them before) for 3.74 for 15 pack (actual list price). Possible a price mistake since all other D2 are still priced at 14.99.

I bought 11 boxes. 165 balls should last me couple of rounds the way I play :)

I also got these balls for that price at Target. I was only able to get 6 boxes. should last all year though. $24 for a yr supply......not bad. I hope they play well for me.

I think these are great balls, especially for those of us that aren't exactly great and have a price limit on balls. I've found them to be very long off the tee and have better feel than most other distance balls.

I'm a 3 handicap and have been playing the D2 Feel for several years.
Recently, after receiving a bunch of crap from my friends over the D2, I spent several rounds experimenting with the D2 Feel against the NXT Tour.
Played two balls, one of each, for 54 holes.
The D2 scores were lower by an average of two strokes per round.
The D2 Feel was a noticeably and consistently longer tee ball than the NXT Tour AND had better overall feel.
Short game was much more consistent with the D2 Feel.
I would never consider playing the NXT ball again.
