Canton Ohio golf trip tomorrow...........

Headed to Canton, OH for a little 3 day golf trip with 3 of my friends. Day 1 were playing Boulder Creek. This is a picture of the 17th hole par 3 island green. (pic 2)Looks pretty nice for a island green in Ohio...

The second day were playing my favorite course The Quarry. This is a par 3 over the quarry #17 hole. (pic 2)

The third day were playing wilkshire since its on the way home. Nothing special but still a great course for the price. Now all we need is the weather to hold up.

I will try to update with some pics throughout the trip.

There is some great golf in that Canton corridor!

yea we were going to ocean city and other places then realized Cantons only 2 hrs away. This is the 3rd trip ive taken there.

Someday beg, borrow, steal to get on the Donald Ross gem called Canton Brookside.

On the way to Streetsboro you pass a plethora of public play courses.
Almost to many to mention.
Chippewa
Seven Hills
Turkeyfoot

There is a little BBQ joint in Dover that is not all bad. Sammy Sue's

I played seven hills, the sanctuary and Mayfair CC last year. Liked the sanctuary alot, seven hills and mayfair wasnt bad. For 2 nights in hotel and 3 rounds $205 a person cant beat that...

You may be the only visitors Canton receives all year.

Hey we get the HOF crew once a year. While in canton, it would be worth the 40 minute drive north to Medina. Shale Creek, I believe its managed by the same company that runs the quarry. Its gem for sure. Have fun in the 330!

Its theJohnny Football effect, people are coming to NE Ohio cause we're relevant, what ever that means.

I'm originally from Medina and Shale Creek is a links <sp? style course, reminds me of European style courses I've seen on TV. A lot of great golf courses in NE Ohio.

Best course in NE Ohio by far!
