What to do...

I've got an RBZ Tour TP 13-degree 3wood. Originally, it had the stock Ozik RUL 70 (.335) shaft in it. A couple months in, I noticed the shaft was loose. I took it to the local PGA Tour Superstore, and had them pop it out and epoxy it back in. They mentioned this is a "known problem" with the 1st gen RBZ's. A couple months later, it came loose again. I abandoned the Ozik, and had them put a Diamana Kai'li (.335) shaft in it. With this shaft, I totally fell in love with this club, and it became one of my best weapons. However, now a year later, and the shaft has once again come loose. I think at this point that it is more of a problem with the head than the shaft. So, as I see it, I've got two realistic options-

1. Have the Diamana pulled and re-epoxied, then cross my fingers.

2. Have the hosel bored out to .350, and install an old original Grafalloy Blue I've had sitting around for years.

Anyone have any other thoughts? I think there's probably no way TaylorMade will do anything for me, as I've had the club for darn near two years, and it no longer has the original shaft in it.

I would try to buy a used head on eBay. They can be had for close to nothing, and do a fresh install with the diamana. Having a trusty 3wood and shaft combo is priceless.

Id call TM first tho. Can't hurt to ask, they might even through you a stage2 or SLDR. And if not, oh well you have lost nothing but 10 minutes of your time.

Yeah, I thought about just finding a replacement, and may do so. This thing, with the Diamana, is just a killer combo.

And yes. I may as well call TM as well. It can't hurt.

Nope. That's certainly a reasonable question though. I learned my lesson with that several years ago, when my grips got all "gummy" from being in the hot car.

Well, I guess that was certainly worth the call. I called TM customer service. They are sending me a SLDR 14-degree TP.

How so you get them to do that ?
I called last week about a 3 wood and they told me to take it into a retailer.
Still haven't gotten around to it

Hmmm. Well, it was easy as can be, actually. I explained that the head has come loose 3 times. I think that's the key. If it had been the first or second time, I think they would've told me the exact same thing- take it to the retailer for repair.

Maybe it depends on who you get ahold of . I was hoping I could just send them a picture of the face
ohh well, I'll get around to taking it in, hopefully before the warranty is up

OP, do i get a commission for the recommendation? for example like selling me the sldr at a discount if it doesn't work out for you? lol
