Longer, Shallower Face with Lower Leading Edge

My 3 woods(many) have been hitting too low off the deck so I decided to give the BB 07 a ride. ebay had good prices on a steel shafted unit for less than half of retail so I popped for one. I've played two rounds with the club. I was pleasantly surprised that it got up about twice as high as any others which would be about ~30 ft at the highest point. I was a little disappointed that the distance off the turf(215) but the accuracy is phenomenal. Off the tee the distance is good (230yds. total @ 90+mph) but the accuracy is again phenomenal. In summary this club has beat out a 17* mizuno hybrid for my bag...which has been acting up lately.

the 3wood played so well I also bought the BB 07 5wd with the standard uniflex shaft. The performance is very similiar as the ball wants to go very straight. The ball gets up nicely from the turf even on slightly thin strikes unlike my Mizuno hybrids. I am guessing this is due to the sharp leading edge. I get about 210yds in the air with a good swing. My most surprizing shot last Saturday was out of 1 inch of thick bermuda (flyer) which ended up pin high at 230 yds. I'll stick with this club for a while...

I really like these woods. Have a 5 and 7. Easy to hit off the tee and the fairway and they are long.

Got the 3 wood for fairways and off the tee. Wasn't very impressed. Had better results with my 04 BB. Traded it for a Big Bertha titanium 3W.

shaft seemed soft for me and misses were low hookers for me , looks awesome at address i wish it hit better than it looks, i play the driver and love it still but for me the 3 wood wasnt the trick, lol

Easy to hit and straight but in my humble opinion, there are better 3 woods that are just as straight and forgiving, but longer.

I've had the BB 3-wood for a few weeks but it definitely lives up to advance billing. Easy to hit from the deck, higher trajectory than other 3-woods I've had, and for me distance has been great. Very good off the tee as well. One of the best club purchases I've made.

09/04/08 update: Still going strong w/ the 3-wood. I added the 5-wood several weeks ago and it is similarly easy to hit, good distance. Thinking about getting the 7-wood and phasing out hybrids altogether.

HackerD I did just that. Replaced Cobra baffler 21 with Cally BB 07 FW. Flies higher and lands soft. Happy with the

decision. This is my first post so I hope I did it right.....

I play a Great Big Bertha II 3 and 5 wood... love em both.... great both off the tee and the grass.

i love mine easy of the tee and the deck it makes a great back up driver very long

Great club. The larger than normal head inspires confidence. I like the trajectory of this club, it has a high launch but not too much spin. Won't be leaving my bag anytime soon.

If it's anything like my Steelhead 3+ with Uniflex sign me up! I can't get rid of that club. Simply the best...
