First Time Poster - Cincinnatti Recs

Possibly moving to Cincinnati area for work in a few months, and it looks like a great golf town. Plenty of quality/reasonably priced public tracks? Any affordable clubs worth looking into? Mid-twenties, will be newly married, any recommendations on good areas to live? Thanks for the help y'all.

If you are going to be in the Northern KY area then take a look at Traditions. I had a buddy that was a member there for several years before he moved away. Very good course and great membership or at least it was back in 2010.

Lived in Cinci for a few years but played more out of town than in. I always felt like the Blue Ash golf course was fun and challenging and was in good shape. I know there are many more options in town, but it is worth a round or two.

These were the places we played regularly when I had friends there. All of them pretty good values and other than slow rounds they were great places to play.

I live right on the river in NKY (first exit in KY), so I play in both KY and OH often. For a golf club, Traditions is a good bet. Lot of good players out there, nice course. Do you know what part of Cincy you may be living in? If you're in the Northern burbs like West Chester or Mason, Traditions would be a hike. Vice versa too- if you're down in Florence, KY area, courses up that way would be a hike. For affordable club options on the East side, Terrace Park CC and Stillmeadow CC are nice options. More expensive would be Kenwood CC and Coldstream CC. Closer to the urban core in Cincy would be Maketewah CC, Hyde Park CC and Cincinnati CC. NKY has Traditions, Summit Hills CC (more affordable), or Triple Crown (more $). Unfortunately, I don't know much about West or North.
