TaylorMade RBZ Stage 2 Hybrids -- Regular vs. Tour TP (My experience) and a few other notes

Well, I picked up 5 hybrids on Global Golf the other day for ~$130 when they had 55% off used hybrids. Here's what I picked up:

1. TM RBZ Stage 2 3Tour TP 3 Hybrid with Matrix OZIK HD hM3 Black Tie 95 Graphite Stiff Flex

2. TM RBZ Stage 2 3 Hybrid with stock 65g Stiff Flex Shaft

3. TM RBZ Stage 2 4 Hybrid with stock 65g Stiff Flex Shaft

4. Adam's Idea Super LS 2 Hybrid with Mitsubishi Rayon Kuro Kage Black 80 HY Graphite Stiff

5. TM Jetspeed 5 hybrid Regular flex (ok this was for my dad, I didn't hit it)

Here are my thoughts on the clubs.

The regular RBZ Stage 2s (3 & 4) hybrids -- These clubs are soft and easy swingers. I knew right away that the 4 hybrid would stay in my bag and it has and I've hit it well so far. But the 3 hybrid I got to compare to the Tour TP version!

The RBZ Stage 2 Tour TP 3 Hybrid -- This thing is a monster. It doesn't sound like a normal TM club. It sounds like an aluminum baseball bat. And it hits the ball like one too. I have no problems keeping this straight, even with my normal slice. It has been absolutely the best club I have added to my bag this year. I'm not sure if it is the heavier shaft, but I couldn't be more happy about it. It has me questioning if I should switch out the 4 hybrid, but I'm afraid if I did, it would make the 4h too long and then wouldn't fill the gap that it is right now in my bag!

Adam's Idea Super LS 2 hybrid -- I couldn't hit this to save my life. I don't know why. Maybe the low loft on a 2 hybrid but this wasn't the club for me. This and the regular RBZ Stage 2 3 hybrid will be making their way either to my roommate or on here because I can't hit this club to save my life.

I haven't hit the Taylormade clubs, but my Adams Super LS Hybrid with the Kuro Kage is one of my favorite clubs. Mine is 22* though. I hit it straight and long, and it lands soft. I think I was carrying it about 230 on the launch monitor the other day. Deadly for approaches into par 5s for me.

[color=#282828]The RBZ Stage 2 Tour TP 3 Hybrid (that's a mouthful) is really good. It replaced an RBZ Tour TP 3 hybrid in my bag and it's better off the deck and off the tee. The ball definitely seems to jump off the face.[/color]
