Hybrid looks nice, and I'd bet those irons will be a hit with higher handicappers.

Not my type of club but definitely see it being a hit with those looking for extra distance. That adjustability in the hybrids is a nice bonus!

Irons, probably not

Those look like they will help a LOT of high handicappers. They're getting back to the BB roots and giving real help to those that need it, and even to some of us that don't! They look good for an SGI set.

Hybrids look great, especially with adjustability. I would love to see how well they work out of the rough.

I have an old Callaway X-16 iron from several years back sitting in my "garage grab-bag", and the face-on shot of the new BB looks almost exactly the same as the X-16. Top line of the new model is considerably thicker, and the sole is much wider; similar to Adams' Idea "hyb-irons".

The hybrids do look good but the irons have way to much offset for my liking.

Hybrid is identical to Titleist 910

except hotter face and more adjustability in the adapter.

No offset on that 9 iron.....

I am impressed with the look and adjustability of the hybrid. Didn't think the X2 Hot Pro hybrids were going anywhere anytime soon, but I will have to give these a shot!

They are the exact same lofts as last years X Hot irons and very similar in loft to other SGI iron sets out there.

These will sell well to the older market looking to retain some distance and to the slower swinger market...so only about 1% of the golfwrx population will be interested in the irons!!

BB Hybrids are a different story...

The irons remind me of the Cally Ft irons which ,if I recall were Titanium Faced. But the wide Soles and and thick Topline seem identical.

So how many high handicap golfers who play enough golf to justify spending a grand on irons but are still high handicappers actually going to buy these? Especially when they are sitting next to a set of Speedblades that probably fly pretty close to the same and are $6-$700 less?

The irons look like a hybrid already with a really thick sole. Why not make the long irons look like an iron? More like Mizzy MP-H5.

My list wish would include a Big Bertha driving iron. A 2 iron with minimum offset and really thick sole.

UST recoil 460, is this a new spec for UST or this just special made for callaway?

I got to see these irons in-hand a few weeks ago. Not something I would put in play but they do look better in person than in pictures. The dark finish makes them look slightly slimmer/smaller than you would initially think and the offset doesn't look as pronounced. It's not a small clubhead but it definitely looks much better than most SGI's on the market. One thing I didn't like, however, was that you could start to see the back of the cavity at address starting with the 6-iron.

I was thinking the same thing, that or a 4 iron as i play a 3 hybrid.

As another guy said, would be hard to knock out my X2Hot 3 hybrid but would like to try the new BB hybrid

I only play blades. Muscleback blades. X200. Why are these even on GolfWRX?!

But in all seriousness, the adjustability in the hybrids? SAWHEEET. Hope they put that in all models going forward
