I have thought about it but it is in November. Who knows if it will be snowing.

Was contemplating it but being November didn't seem worth it. Probably would have got boat raced too since game goes to hell come October let alone November.

What is the format? Date and time?

Those are some awesome prizes. May put a team together. I've never played in a big cup round. What kind of scores are expected to win here. Has to be around -20 each day with big holes right?

I would say low scores and if they pay off the whites or Blues it will be super low scoring.

Sounds like a great line up of prizes and giveaways, i would play if I didn't live so far away from me. I ha e played in outing that where $200 a man, there were vacation giveaways and cash prizes.i prefer actual prizes instead of money, atleast then you have something to show for and remember when looking back!

Black Tees with rock hard ground possible could be doable unless it is bitter cold. It isnt an unruly length to play but you have to be on your toes.

The greens will be sanded (poorly) and that course is so overplayed and beatup. Divots everywhere. Everywhere. They need to give the course monday off to rest, but it's just the $$$$$$$$$$ for them.

That said we may actually put in for it. LOL.

don't let that team that shot 44 in a scramble get wind of this... they would clean house... then again they would need to play with another group so they would probably shoot an 84

I live down the Road from it, like 5 minutes away. It is not my favorite course at all, the problem is they are not golfers. I still have 2 free rounds of golf there they i need to use but always find a reason not to.
The course is nice, to me the greens roll weird and the carts paths and bunkers are terrible.

Joey that group should come and shot a low one, of course in November you might need a parka to play there also.

We played out there today. I retract some of my previous post.

Some of the greens were punched but nothing was that bad. No sand. I played there a few times in late October last year and the greens were so sanded it was un-puttable.

Today was pretty rugged out there. Us 4 agreed that we aren't good for next month. Nope.

She said there is only 3 (or maybe it was 4) spots left in the event.

It's great they're paying out to 27th place with a full field of 25 teams.

With that first place prize the lies will be HUGE and the erasers used often.

That is why your paired with another group and keep their score

Ya I have no idea why it says that last year it was 25 teams, this year 25 teams sold out the first outing and a few left for the second one.

I am amazed that many people are going to play but hey good for them. Only thing that make me worry is the time and temp!

If anyone was wondering winning score was -35 after two days. It was definitely not our team lol

I'm playing next weekend. Low of 28 and high of 35 both days with snow on Sunday. Should be fun!!

played last weekend at edgewood country club, weather was fine sunny -cool

When i drove by it looked like a busy place. -35 that is crazy but it is a bigger hole.

What a difference a day makes around here.... Almost 70 yesterday, icy cold today.

Was a really cool event this weekend. Despite crazy cold temps around 30 degrees, it was a full field both days. A lady playing bagpipes started off the event both mornings which I thought was great. -32 won for the weekend which was a great score considering the weather. Had a great time and will definetly do it again next year.

I agree I will be playing next year for sure, Did you guys win anything?
