K I'll bite. I assume by career you mean a tour career and not a career in the industry? I'm going to go ahead and assume that that means you're looking for year round play?
It doesn't matter what I was referring to, I simply was asking which are your favorite golf cities.

I'm not being rude I'm just trying to figure out what question you are asking so we can better help you out. Is it the question in the title or the question in your first post. Answers will be different depending on which question you're actually asking

There's a lot of factors involved, but for me, if I was playing golf for a living it would be the following:

1. Vegas
2. St. George, UT
3. Scottsdale

Honestly that's about it. My wife's family is from Vegas and there's a good likelihood we'll move there in the next 5 years anyway as they are very important to her. If golf was my job, I don't think it would make much sense to try and live any further away than that. Year round play available in all 3 locations, great courses, easy access to air travel, and in the case of NV, no income tax.

I see, makes sense why those cities would be good for golf.

I just got an idea. This is the only challenge I would consider accepting on WRX if we could mesh our schedules. Knock it close and drewtaylor21 (better ball) verses me on a course of either of their choosing 5 bucks a hole. I think it would be a good test of golf with a little edge and incentive to play for.
No I'm not good enough to do anything relevant with it and I don't have the drive to try to grind on the CanTour in hopes of making 10g in the summer.

Yes...You hit, then knock it close hits, then you two decide which ball is better and/or leaves you two in the best scoring position.

But KIC, it's 5 dollars in American currency, isn't that like $100 in Canadian money? You could buy all sorts of maple syrup with that :)

No....that's a scramble format. Which would actually mean you would stand NO chance. We'd shoot low 60's pretty easily in that format. So if you want to play that way, I'm in for $1000 a hole :) and I won't even bring money to the match. Hint Hint.

Better ball is the same as 4 ball. We both play each hole, and our team takes our lowest score for each hole. So if one of us happens to make double and the other makes birdie, we take birdie.

Guess I learned something else new today :) . Either way, I don't care and you guys could pick whichever format you feel works best for you two. If I don't stand a chance, then I guess I am just a glutton for punishment. Either way it would be great fun and I welcome a good challenge. Out of curiosity why is it OK for you guys to be so confident when playing someone you've never met but when I say I want to try to take my game to the next level all hell breaks lose?

Because statistically, you will lose. Literally every time, regardless of who you are. Especially so, since you just told them they could play a two man scramble.

I will take that bet and twice on Sundays... and I'll even host at my club.
