If your talking average... its just about 295 yds....probly around 290-295yds...... if you talking grip it and rip it ive sent a few close to 350 in the right conditions(eg. downhill with a lil wind. and once sent one 365....every round i have more than my fair share over 300.....310,315,320.....but u always have the ones u dont hit well which only go 270 or so..... but i more concerned with keeping the ball in play nowa days because that is what will help my score so i dont mind....being 5-10yds shorter for more acuracy which leads to closer approach shots into the greens...its a relative.

Im not laughin either a buddy of mine only hits it at the VERY FURTHEST 240.... but his short game is one every person would envy so even from 6500- and longer he can still shoot scores in the low 70's and im talkin 70,71,72.

yeah one time i played a par 5 550 yards downhill and a nice wind behind me and i hit it right on the 150 yard marker (400 yards  ) but i ended up making bogey after hitting my 9 iron over the back in a bunker and then hitting my bunker shot 20 feet by and 3 putting :cheesy: distance is not the biggest factor in the game

I average around 250-260 off the tee. I can shoot a decent number from any length course because my short game saves me most of the time. The longest drive I've ever hit was 368 way downwind on a fast fairway. It was on a par 5. Made bogey after I dumped the second shot into some water I didn't know was there :cheesy: .

I'm 18, 5'11", 130lbs. :ok: ;)

I usually carry about 215-200.

So with some roll I am out there

about 230ish. (fyi- I am not a bad

golfer and have a pretty good

swing and am really working to

get it longer...handicap-8ish)

I edited this b.c

it is old and have also read ahead. I

have a really hard time believing

a lot of these kids and think they

should be more honest with them-

selves. I mean 310 average...for

some I understand but multiple

people have said it so...

got my launch conditions checked out by titleist, carry about 270 avg is around 280.

for all u ppl sayin u hit over 300 regularly...wtf?

are u guys measuring the doglegs and stuff or are these ur actual numbers u got on a launch monitor?

goose u said u avg like 320....thats more than tigers avg, andi dont think u are as fit as tiger is... just my assumption cause i dont know u but 320 is hard to believe.

In the 250 range. Not very long but working on it. My irons from 7 in save the day.

Out of interest for the 300 yard plus people what is the role on those drives, because I find it hard to believe someone could carry it 300 yards, unless they really really wack it..

65183

I agree. I've played with a ton of people here in FL who claim to hit it 300+...and I've only seen 3 people carry the ball 300 yards on a regular basis.

Kyle i have noticed that when i am in Florida that the ball doesnt carry as well through the air. if its humidity or what im not sure but i tend to lose around 10 yds of carry in fla. Hav you noticed an increase when you play in different places other than florida.... actually that goes for any REAL humid places like hilton head, myrtle beach etc.

(we need to get some more meat on you 5'11" 130???? LOL)

I average about 315 - 325. I am 6' 1" 135 lbs and I am 15 years old. I can really move the ball and my longest drive ever came in around 440 ish. I take great pride in driving where I am long and straight and in putting. Those are the best parts of my game so I should be well off after I fix the irons and wedges. Oh and I get mabey 5 - 10 yards roll max on my drives.

This is getting out of hand. There is no way you guys are hitting the ball this long. If you did, we'd be hearing more about you. I only hit the ball about 250, but as you can see by my handicap that driving distance can mean nothing.

65512

Not necessarily. I know a lot of people who hit it deep and can't break 80. It all comes down to short game, IMO. I do agree that your handicap proves that distance means nothing.

Distance isnt about how big you are....and short game is FARRRRR more important... i truly believe that and that is what i am constantly working on to get me where i want to go.

Glad to see theres a girl member....WELCOME!
