Vokey experts do these look real?

Gentlemen,

I'd very much appreciate some help from all you experts on here. I'm looking to buy a new set of Vokey SM5 wedges on a budget and surely ebay is the place where I ended up. My problem however is that I'm quite paranoid about equipment being counterfeit. Any tips in this department specifically what to look out for when it comes to these vokey wedges? I hear there loads of counterfeit vokeys selling online is this true? For example have a look at these Vokeys I'm currently bidding on and please let me know if they look suspicious or like the real deal. Again, appreciate it!

Not a vokey expert, but have seen those black SM5s live. These look like originals, cant remember if the ferrule on those I saw was also black but that might be a custom order. Shaft band etc look genuine as well.

If you want to be sure see if you can get a picture of the serial number on the club. It should be 5 number, all should have the same number (if they came from the same order), and almost look like it was etched in by hand. If you get it post it here. That would be the best way to be sure, but just looking at them they seem fine.

Some things that throw me off is that the titliest name looks thicker than other pics I have seen (same with the sm5 "saw" ). The saw logo should also be polished if I remember correctly. In your pictures it looks black. It could just be the angle though.

also, shouldnt the holograms at least look different from each other. They look all red at the same time even though the light should be hitting at different angles making then color change a bit no?

The grips are fake so one would assume the entire club is fake. The 52/56/60 Vokey set in black nickel (or oxide, whatever it's called now lol) is heavily counterfeited - http://www.aliexpres...2215551309.html

The photos aren't sharp enough to definitively rule the heads as fake (the 5 in SM5 is usually the giveaway) but given the combination of fake grips, eBay and perhaps the most frequently faked combo in golf then I'm happy to call this one as fake.

The shafts are 100% fake. The labels aren't even close (specifically the "Project X" text). The Titleist text on the clubs looks too big as well. Vokeys are a highly counterfeited item and the scum counterfeiters have gotten very close to looking like the genuine article, but there are still tell tale signs to look for.

Fake.

Real below for comparison.

I've seen fakes in person taking in club repair work. They use inferior metals and when the clubs hit each other they "clink" with a high pitch instead of a "clunk". Most fakes will also have fake shafts and a lot of PX shafts are faked. The stamps and logo's are very hard to tell at least from a picture.

I'm no Vokey expert but the pic you posted would worry me w/ all the labels. Is that customary now w/ Titleist? Three shaft lables on top of the manufacturer's? Seems a bit overkill. Do youreslf and favor and for piece of mind go to your local shop and buy from an authorized dealer. It may cost yo a few dollars more in the end but you'll sleep better at night. Plus you're supporting your local golf shop.

Shafts are definitely fake so I think it's safe to assume everything is.
