raseeler,

I sent you payment a couple days ago and a PM yesterday to check on the payment sent for the 9* 430.

While it's unlikely I'll get to put it into play anytime real soon, could you please let me know that you have at least received payment?

FSUGolfdog...for what it's worth, he hasn't logged on since 6:52am on the 4th but the head (I bought the 9* SLDR 430) showed up today. Zero communication past his acceptance of my offer, but it showed up 7 days after I paid for it.

The small dent in the top is a different story...

Thanks for the update, sorry to hear about the dent.

Well, I don't know what the deal is as raseeler's feedback seemed to indicate that communication was not an issue from him.

It's been 10 days since I payed him. After 7 days the head arrived but no communication whatsoever from him. The head showed up with a dent in the crown (pics/vids here: http://s1272.photobucket.com/user/d0ch0l1d4y/library/ ) and I sent him a message. He replied:

"That is very odd, as I never saw a dent, or noticed anything while playing the club. As you can see it has barely been hit, so a dent shouldn't be there. Let me know what you want to do, and if you could send me a pic possibly that would be appreciated."

A dent is there, and there's no real way to miss it if you tee the ball up. I sent him a list of what I wanted to do 3 days ago and it's been radio silence (he's not logged in since sending the message).

I'm filing a PP dispute this afternoon.

*edit - forgot to paste link to pics/vids

Funny...lets see the other side of this...I immediately asked for a pic (curious how it never was sent to me)..he then said he wanted to take it outside and hit it then wanted to do one of three things...but yet never did what he said, as I waited for his feedback. I was willing to do whatever, but I have never once sent a damaged item, and I think my feedback speaks for that....

Your reading comprehension appears to be as poor as your math skills (4 days ago was the 7th...)

Here's the other side...all PM convos are in the pic below. In case the text in the attachment is too small to read, here's an extended summary.

12/1 12:05pm - I offer to buy head for $100 shipped.

12/1 6:12pm - raseeler accepts offer and presents paypal address

12/1 9:24pm - I send $100 through Paypal

12/3 9:19am - I PM to see if Paypal has been received.

*NOT PM convo, but a post in the F/S ad above: I replied to FSUGolfdog at 12:43pm on 12/8 that while there was no communication - the item did arrive (I had it delivered to my office where I opened it and inspected) - albeit with the dent.

12/8 3:49pm - I PM raseeler informing him of my disappointment that there was an undisclosed dent in the head....text from the PM:

I got the head in the mail and i'm fairly disappointed to find a non-disclosed dent in the crown.

Typically it wouldn't bother me (especially if I knew about it) but I haven't been able to take it outside to see if it's visible at address. If it is, that would definitely bother me.

I'm leaning toward just requesting a full refund and return...but if it's not visible, I'll request a partial refund.

I'll look at it outdoors today after work.

Thanks,

Ben

12/8 4:36pm - raseeler replies:

12/8 7:02pm - I reply:

I got stuck at work, then went to the gym so I didn't get a pic of it in the daylight. I'll take one once my iPhone is finished updating software.

12/8 9:53pm - I follow up, including what I thought might be a mutually beneficial option:

Took a couple pics/videos to show the dent.

http://s1272.photobu...0l1d4y/library/

It's not a big dent, but it's noticeable due to the location.

To be perfectly honest, I bought it to test against a 10.5 430 head - whichever loses is getting resold...which is now the dilemma.

I don't feel like the dent will be an issue if I end up playing it.

If I don't end up playing it, re-sale is taking the hit. it's not a lot of money, but i'll propose the following options:

1.) Full refund and we both move on.
2.) Partial refund of ~$20 and I'll eat whatever the rest of the loss is in the case that head doesn't make the cut.
3.) Allow me to take it to the range and hit it. If it wins, I'll be happy and consider the deal complete. If it loses, I'll send photos of the condition to show there's no additional damage and you allow me to return the head (on my dime) and you refund me $80.

Option 3 is of course assuming I don't pop one off the TM logo :)

I'm a good ballstriker and would not forsee any damage to the club during testing. It'll hit maybe a couple dozen balls with it on the range, and if I'm lucky maybe get 18 in this week (should be in the 50s on Thursday).

I think my preference of options is #2, #3, #1. I love the looks of this head and, minus the dent, it's in great condition.

Let me know what you think or if you have any other suggestions.

12/11 2:05pm - I reply that i've filed PP dispute since he hasn't replied with an option selection or an alternative. At this time, I also alert the moderators since two others in the sale ad posted with issues.

12/11 4:20pm - raseeler replies at the direction of Dr. Pino:
I was waiting on you to tell me what you found out after hitting it outside. Also, I was hoping to get a pic that I asked for...

wasn't ignoring at all, just believed that the ball was in your court and was waiting on you

12/11 4:38 - I reply:
As stated in my previous PM...I provided 3 options of which you were to choose or suggest another option.

I'm not going to take equipment to the range without your direct permission if there's a chance you'd rather it be returned.

At this point, I'd prefer to return it for a full refund and be done with this transaction.

12/11 4:59pm raseeler replies:
That does not make any sense....you clearly stated that you were going to take it to the range, and 4 days ago I asked for a picture, so I'm starting to wonder myself what is going on.

I say hit it, then let me know. But can you see my side of this....

you make a claim that it has a dent, and I asked right away for a pic, and never got one....if you were in my shoes would you be questioning as well?

END OF PM CONVERSATIONS

Here's is what I take issue with:
1. I sent you a link to pictures and videos that clearly show the dent a grand total of 5 hours and 17 minutes after you requested them. I'm positive you know how to follow web links.
2. At no point did I say: "I'm going to take it to the range and then decide what to do." I presented 3 clear options that you were to either select or propose a different option.

I am requesting a full refund and I will return the head as it was sent to me. I'll use the exact box and packing material.
