Ben Hogan Ft. Worth Irons and TK Wedges

These actually look pretty sweet in-hand. I don't know what more you could have asked for.

Overall, very nice. Never been a fan of rounded lines and edges, which these seem to have, but not a huge deal. I doubt I will ever see these in person but a good offering.

Well done, but as with the lofts going back to Mr. Hogan's day, perhaps the price needs to follow suit. $150 for a stock wedge is a little steep.

Like the design, like the numbers on the sole. I'd like to see them from address in person but not sure that will ever be possible?

I really appreciate the buttload of photos. The more I see them at various angles and in different light, the less angular and the prettier they become.

Beautiful irons. Reminds me a little of the RAM FX Pro set from some years back.

Was hoping for a more square toe, and a slightly thinner top line, still very pretty though.

Eh, $130-150 for a forged wedge is more or less market these days. I actually assumed the irons were going to be more expensive based on the run-up campaign to their release.

Sure are pretty, and I liked the Scor sole design a lot.

These irons are beautiful in person the looks are worthy of the Ben Hogan name.

I didn't think they felt very good but that may have been attributed to them being too flat. I don't know their specs but they appear flatter than most standard spec irons these days, and I usually go 1 up.

Fourteen Golf was the booth next to them on the range at PGA demo day, and the feeling between them was night and day.

Well everyone, we asked for it, and we finally got it. Lofts on the sole and not Clubs numbers.

Agreed! The photos in the other thread really left me wanting more, and this was all the more I needed. I really hope they follow the PING fitting model of offering free fittings if you venture out to their HQ. Seems very worth the trip.

Was hoping for more of a straight leading edge like in '73 Apex, and possibility of heavier shaft offering. These still appear interesting enough to give a test. I hope company is able to succeed.

Huge Hogan fan. Had Apex, Apex Plus, and FTX sets. Persimmon drivers.

I'm sure these are great feeling and I like the loft numbering scheme. Two things that strike me are 1) there is like negative offset, and 2) the top line is a touch too thick for my liking. Still want to give them a try.

Not much of a fan of the back (not that it matters), but at address it looks great. Looking forward to trying these out if they're available to demo in my area. I saw KBS Tour 90 and Tour-V on the website as stock shaft options, will they also have other shaft upgrade options?

I wonder if they picked KBS Tour-V because it's somewhat similar to the old Hogan Apex shafts. Fairly lightweight, stiff butt and mid with softer tip.

They don't have negative offset, the top line is flat, not rounded so it appears a little thicker than it really is. The KBS Tour-V is stiffer in the tip than the Tour, but may be close to Apex shafts by Royal Precision.

Count me in the camp that doesn't like traditional markings of "3", "4", "5", etc. on the irons.

When I pull a club, I don't want to be like, "wait, is this the 6 or the 7?"

Very, very nice. I like the and think they are worth the wait.

I really like the way they brought back the old Hogan "blade in a blade" look. Really sharp looking irons!
