You live in PA.. No need for them in Harrisburg Pa.as i grew around there and golf is so boring as you have about 3 nice courses and if it is not snowing it is raining.Very depressing town. Perry County, Enola, Duncannon Feel bad for you.

Let me know when you figure it out because my father in law spends more time looking for balls than actually playing the game. I live in Florida as well, be careful where you look for balls we don't need another Chubbs running around. It's hard to hit a trap draw with a wooden hand.
Man your funny. Drink another one you drunk.

I have tried several of them and the best one is the Callaway 15 foot. It is bright enough that it can be seen under the water, grabs the ball on contact, and extends/retracts easily. I got mine on eBay for about $30 shipped. I don't hawk but I will grab my own Pro-V if I know it went in close to shore and I can see it quickly.

Rules of the road for using these here in Florida:

1. NEVER hold things up hawking. If you are alone on the course knock yourself out.

2. Watch for hidden hazards. Gators and snakes are there - just a matter of whether or not you see them.

3. Every once in awhile if you pull one that is decent and you know you won't use it, leave it on the shoreline. Odds are someone behind you can put it to use and there are a lot of players down here on a fixed income that really appreciate the find. (I have seen people just toss them out deeper - great condition ball but just "not their brand")

Whenever I get paired up with someone who uses one all the time, I get embarrassed when the group behind us is waiting in the fairway for the old guy to stop fishing out his ball and about 15 others.

I've started finishing the hole without them while they're fishing then go sit in the cart just to show how much of a waste of time it is.

I played with my wife's grandfather at his country club and he literally spent at least 5-7 minutes fishing out balls on one hole. I was dying...he was so happy about his 'haul' of a bunch of f'ing noodles and top flites.
Man you must be a good golfer, What is your handicap? You and Tiger should play together as he now shoots mid eightees and will never win again. He needs a ball retreiver the way he chips and If he does not get embarrassed why should you or i.
I see your handicap is 1. Where do you play? Alico pitch and putt in Estero or Bonita Springs par 3 in Naples. What a joke.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

My handicap is under my name, it's a 9.6 so not as good as most on here I'm sure. Just saying, if I lose a ball in the water (which obviously happens as an almost 10 capper) I count it as gone. If I can reach it with a wedge I'll grab it, but any further and I consider it a donation to lostgolfballs.com.

I hate it when I'm waiting on a fairway for someone fishing out balls so I don't do it myself.
