Most Secluded Golf Course?

After reading this article "The 9 most secluded golf courses in the world" I was wondering if anyone else knew of a course that is more secluded than these.

My first thought of a course that is more secluded was Highland Links Golf Course in Nova Scotia, I don't know how that isn't on the list but that is beside the point. I was just curious of any other courses that you see as secluded.

Fishers Island also comes to mind.

Not super secluded.. But enough.

What about the island course all to itself near Colombia or somewhere like that?

Forest Dunes in Roscommon, Mi is pretty secluded. Right in the middle of a national forest. For the final 15-20 minutes of the drive in you may see 1 home.

Dismal River or Sand hills in NE;

Cochiti in NM

Ballyneal in CO

Sand Hills/Dismal/Etc. should be #1 on that list. Yeamans Hall is the most secluded place I can think of. It's near a lot of civilization, but you've got to drive through a bunch of pine forest to get to the club. The Ocean Course is not exactly in the middle of somewhere, either.

Hahaha it's funny because you can actually do that on hole 5.

Caye Chapel Golf Club in Belize has to get some consideration. Just an island in the middle of the Atlantic with a golf course...that's it.

I'm not sure the author even knows what secluded means. Is it a golf course farthest away from civilization, is it a golf course farthest away from another golf course, or is is somehow Augusta National?

Check out Bigwin Island GC, Lake of Bays, Ontario

Got to take a boat to the course. Island was a very popular resort in the 40s-60s with celebrities.

wow, that has got to be the most secluded I have seen, too bad by the look of the aerial on google maps it looks like it is no longer operating.

Yeah, weird. First it's course not near civilization and then it's courses that don't have homes or office buildings overlooking it.

Not sure how Bear Dance is on there. You can see the course from I-25. Devils Thumb in Delta, CO is the most secluded course I've played in CO.

Wolf Creek in Mesquite and Bandon are in their own worlds.

Circling Raven Golf Course outside of Coeur D'Alene, ID would be the most secluded I have played. Also, Wine Valley in Walla Walla, WA would be a up there too
