Not a p1 unless you didn't get a picture of it, McLaren in your pics just looks like the 650s.

    Nice pics 12tamale!

There's an i8 just like that outside the duty free in the Frankfurt airport, it's a really cool car.

Thanks again guys for all of the great responses and photos. I am jealous of many of the sightings listed here. I clearly don't get out enough - or spend too much time at work and on the golf course and not enough time on the roads.

Like many big cities, Chicago has their fair share of wealthy folk- spend enough time on oak st and you'll see em all..

That said, the parking garage underneath the CBOE building had, aside from some of those older exotics, everything under the sun. I parked in there for fifteen years and, while happy with my purchases, always took time to take a peak at the occasional carrera gt, bugatti and even a red enzo. Cool stuff indeed.

That bugatti... **** that was stunning...

Seeing a Bugatti veyron in person is awe inspiring if you are a car guy, my wife and I saw one in San Francisco a few weeks back and I grabbed my man region as a natural reflex..... She was confused.

Actually, that supercharged Cobra had a brother making it 1/2. It was owned initially by comedian Bill Cosby and inspired an album called "200 MPH". Cosby returned the car to Shelby and the subsequent owner drove it off a cliff in California and died. Both of the SUPER SNAKES were fitted with automatic transmissions, the only two that Shelby American, Inc. ever made in that configuration.

I've seen an assortment of Lamborghini's, Bentley's, Ferrari's and other luxury sports/super cars in Seattle. Notably a F50 on the outskirts of the Seattle. The most valuable car I have ever rode in was an R8 (I could go on forever about it).

You actually saw an F50 on the road? That's pretty awesome, that's a really rare Ferrari, they only made 349 of those (pretty sure that's right) compared to like 1200 F40s and 400ish Enzos.

Fieros always used to fool me back in the day. You'd see them from the front a ways off and think they must be something pretty sweet, only to find out it was a Pontiac. I always remember hearing about how the engines were mounted sideways or something in those things so they were a b**** to work on.

I used to valet cars as a college job in Columbus, Ohio and you would be suprised at the nice cars we got to drive. The best Ive ever got to drive would have to be a Mercedes McLaren. Really nice car and I got a good tip too:) Other nice ones have been Maybac, Rolls Royce, any Porsche. Aston Martins are nice too. It was a cool job and I was rich being a college kid. Ive been able to drive about any car you can think of. I would highly reccomend any college kid living in Columbus to got to Easton and get a valet job. Great experience.

    Seeing exotics: yeah nice.

Owning an exotix: quite expensive. (Just ask the owner of a Veyron how much the dealer charges for the mandatory maintenance every 5.000 miles. ~30k $)

I do own a rare car, but it's not all that exotic in the sense that it's just 218BHP. But there's only 2000 built, maybe 1.700 left. Also it's just 1000kg and its a freaking Mini. Okay a Mini Cooper S JCW GPS kit, number 0064/2000

If you have a million dollars to spend on a car I have a hard time believing that you'd be concerned about the maintenance costs, just saying.

That's why I tried to make the question as broad as possible. Rare, cool, and exotic doesn't have to mean expensive. If I had a few thousand to throw around, I would love to get an 81-82 VW Scirocco (sp?) or a 90-91 Corrado and soup the **** out of the thing. Even though I can appreciate a Ferrari, Lambo, etc. I don't think there is any world where I could actually bring myself to buy one and drive it on the street. I would just feel like too large of a douchebag. That's why I like the Nissan GTRs so much. They don't look all that exotic, but they are kickass.

Nice call on the corrado. My brothers good friend drove one in high school and I was obsessed with them, sucks they were fwd though.

Exotics and super cars are not built to sit in a garage to look at, they are meant to be driven, and driven very hard. If you were able to get yourself a full set of tour issue clubs that were superior to everything would you not game them?

    Seeing exotics: yeah nice.

Owning an exotix: quite expensive. (Just ask the owner of a Veyron how much the dealer charges for the mandatory maintenance every 5.000 miles. ~30k $)

I do own a rare car, but it's not all that exotic in the sense that it's just 218BHP. But there's only 2000 built, maybe 1.700 left. Also it's just 1000kg and its a freaking Mini. Okay a Mini Cooper S JCW GPS kit, number 0064/2000

Most fun car I've ever owned or leased and ive had some pretty cool cars.

It's a fair question. I guess I always ask myself, "where the **** am I going to be able to get everything out of a 220mph sports car on the road?" Answer: nowhere. Same thing with a set of tour issue clubs. They might be super sweet and all that, but my crappy swing isn't going to use them to their fullest potential. As a result, both the exotic hyper-car and the tour issue clubs are simply serving as attention generators.

Nice pic, RJ! I love the SLS, looks great in white. Looks like he may have hit his alloys on the curb though.
