Softfeel is a 2 piece, 60 compression ball. e6 is a 3 piece, 46 compression ball. If you have trouble hitting the ball straight, play the e6.

Go with a sleeve of each before buying several dozens of anything you haven't hit.

I play e6, but I wouldn't recommend anything in bulk without trying them first.

I have played both and I had some of my best rounds with the Super Soft.

To me they are just as long as the E6 but the main thing they are better to putt with than the E6

However Mych gave you some good advice about about buying a small amount to try out before you go and buy several dozen.

I just bought two dozen of the Srixon Z-Star SL and after using just two balls I realize they don't suit me

I saw numerous positive comments on this site about the SL but everybody is different.

Now I've got to go through the hassel of re-selling them because if I don't like a ball I just can't play them

I will add the e6 did not putt well for me. Flys straight as an arrow but rolls out a ways so factor that in. I ended up going to the NXT Tour-S. Might be looking to try the Chrome soft this spring. I would rather have more green side spin that less driver spin as a trade-off.

I would also not commit to one ball yet. I played the 2013 e6 and it was similar to the NXT Tour, but a regular Gamer was better than either of them. Cally Supersoft performed very well for me last year and I would consider trying a sleeve. Maxfli has released the Soft Fli low compression ball at 2 dozen/$25 and the Gamer Soft is about $15, but you have to buy both of these balls by the dozen from Dicks or Golf Galaxy. I assume you have done some homework so why not get a sleeve of the NXT Tour, e6, and Supersoft and play different balls on different holes?

looking to buy several dozen for new season what do you guys think of this two balls?
[/quote]

I just played my first round with e6 balls yesterday and I think i found my new ball. When I was actually making good swings (unfortunately, not that often), I had a lot less side spin. I usually tend the slice on miss hits or when I try to swing too hard and these balls worked well for me. I do not have very high swing speeds, right around 100 with the driver. I've played the srixon ones before and they weren't bad, but I do like the e6 more.
