Who is gaming?

I have my eye on a RX3 or and RXi. I kinda like the flexibility of the lie adjustment of the 3, but like any putter, once it is set, It is rarely adjusted again

Boy, do I love technology!
I have been gaming a Cure RX2 for a little over a year and love it - Most stable, forgiving putter I have ever found and has made me much more consistent. For me I like the adjustability of the RX2, especially the huge range of weight. The Lie angle I don't mess with much, but have made a few minor tweaks over the last year. very easy to adjust and fit.

I've been intrigued by the RXi since I saw it and finally ordered one. I just got it last week and am pretty impressed with it so far, although I have only been able to use it indoors. Was supposed to get out on Saturday, but plans changed... I'll let you know what I think of the RXi once I have a chance to work with it a bit more. Going to have to be pretty spectacular to replace my RX2 though...

I have not been able to get my hands on the RX3, but it looks like its basically a slightly smaller, heel shafted version of the RX2...

Lots of info on their website and customer service is very good if you have questions

What weight are you running the Rx2 at?
My RX2 is set at 453g with an MOI of 14,200
To get the high moi, you need lots of weight.
Not true - its about weight distribution, not just weight. Even at lower weights around 370g the RX2 still has over 10,000 MOI - to put in perspective, i think the highest moi mallet out there (from the big guys) is the TM Daddy Long legs - approx 395 g / 8500 MOI

RX2 at 395 has 11,700 moi - So about 30% higher than the TM DDL

BTW - all the MOI numbers are listed at http://cureputters.com/collections/rx2/products/rx2-blue - click on the tab that says Weight / MOI and you can see the different combinations and MOI.

I have never used a putter higher than 360g...the weights that you are speaking of are really extreme for many of us.

Not saying it's a bad thing, but it will take some getting used to.
I hear you... I wouldn't never have thought I would be putting this heavy either, but it really was not much of an adjustment, rather just taking some time experimenting with more and more weight until it got too heavy, then backing down a bit to where I was putting best. You may not be comfortable with that much weight - some of the other models start a little lighter - the Rxi start at 345g and still has as much MOI as any mallet.

Never seen a cure putter. is it similar to a seemore?

The Cure RXi is an oversized blade with High MOI, so it's a similar design concept as the SeeMore Giant FGP - Other models from Cure are not really similar to anything - way outside the box...

Here is my quick comparison of the RXi and Giant FGP - others may have more info on these...

The RXi is 5.5" milled aluminum - heel shafted / toe hang - Adjustable weight 345-410g - MOI 8,500 - 9,950 (depending on weight) - Interchangeable face inserts - R/L handed $299

The Giant FGP is 5.75" center shafted / face balanced at impact- 365 g - MOI #s not published - R handed only- $250

I tried one and really liked it, was actually very surprised how well I rolled the ball with it. Was making 5-7 footers like tap ins. I wound up with an Odyssey 2 ball CB due to the price it would have cost me to CB an RX2.

Overall, solid putter and instant conversation starter.

The RX1 and RX2 are center shafted and face balanced. Great feel and roll IMO. It's Aluminum so the sound is different... I love the sound now, but was a little strange at first. You will get comments on the look and sound, but more importantly, it feels solid anywhere on the face and rolls true. Been gaming for a year and a half and have never putted better. The adjustability is great as you can dial in the perfect lie and weight to fit your stroke.

No problem, just a word of warning if you're buying on Ebay. Avoid seller PetesPlace99 - A friend of mine ordered a Cure Putter from them which was advertised as NEW, but it showed up missing parts etc. My buddy called Cure and it turns out the Seller is a pawn shop and they bought a bunch of parts that were stolen from the Cure warehouse and built / assembled poorly because the guys at the pawn shop don't know what they are doing. Make sure to buy from a reputable Ebay dealer or go direct to Cure Putters
Good luck

being that we are all friends here...

I had ordered the putter from the website...and anxiously waited.

And waited.

No order processing....no shipping details...no putter. Sent an email that was unanswered for days. Went to paypal to cancel the transaction, and the putter finally showed, a few days later. I then let paypal know that I got it.

Unboxed it...it was just too big for me.

Tried it in my den for a couple of days, and realized I would never use it. Went to the website, and took them up on their 30 day return policy. Sent them an email looking for an authorization.

And waited.

Never heard from anyone so I sent it to the address on the website for returns. 3 weeks later, checked paypal for refund...nothing.

Sent them an email after waiting a bit longer, received my refund.

I cannot speak to the long term use of the product, but their C/S downright stinks.

Sorry JB99.

The story from one man...no axe to grind. Just setting expectations.
I hear you, I wouldn't be happy with that either - Just surprised as my couple of interactions with them have been great and never had an issue with communication.
Sorry it didn't work out for you

They are all big - size and weight distribution are why they have such High MOI. For me it was a a little bit of a shock at first, but after rolling a few putts and experiencing the stability, I was very impressed. It did not take long to adjust to the look and size given the results i was seeing. FWIW

Was that the new RX3? That thing is huge! I was thinking about trying a Cure putter but after seeing this pics I'm just not sure. And that is supposed to be the smallest of their lineup - the RX1 and RX2 come in at 6"

Regular ones are 6" the tour ones are 5.5"

edit: this info is straight from their website for what it's worth.

Also found out the only difference between the RX1 and RX2 are the alignment aid on top.

That's correct, they are all between 5.25" and 6" - They are BIG. The size and weight distribution is why they have such high MOI and why they offer a level of stability and forgiveness that you'll never get in a traditional size /design. It wasn't that tough for me to adjust to, especially since I saw immediate results. Big Drivers looked funny at first too, but I don't see to many guys hitting persimmon woods anymore
