Macgregor PCB Tours

I picked up a set of these back in November.......Haven't been able to get to the course yet to try them out any opinions on these ?? I am very anxious to get on the range or course to try these babies out!

The PCB Tour was made for MacGregor by Miura.

The PCB tour's were done by Miura and are awesome. I have a set that was refinished. The PCB's aren't bad either, not miura...but softer, more like a Hogan forging.

Yes they are the PCB Tour by Miura. Set up with DGS300 sensicore shafts. I have a set of Rifle 6.0 flighted that I might consider putting in them after getting a feel for them on the range but that is only after I see how they perform with the ball flight. I think with the offset though I won't need an help getting the flight I like in the long irons. Still a little more offset that what I am used too but I am ready to get out and check them out.


Any idea's on shaft options besides RF 6.0?

Mine have DGs. You may want to consider some Nippons as well. I have those in my other two sets of irons and chose them over PX.

Picked up like new set of the PCB Tour heads from a guy for a song and had my favorite club builder put some Tour Concepts in them with pro soft inserts. Some of the best most accurate irons I've ever hit. Gotta love that Miura feel for a heck of a lot less money.

After playing just two rounds with these my Mizuno MP-37s are resting comfortably in the backup bag.

I was fortunate enough to find a used set of these on eBay for $138!!!! They are in terrific condition.

I reshafted them with PX 6.0, and I can say these are the best feeling clubs I have ever hit.

Since I stared using the PCB Tours, my Don White custom grinds are display pieces. They look great, but are too much work when compared to the PCB Tours.

If you can find a set, give them a try. I do not think you will be disappointed.

Just have them now. I am very impressed. A wonderful feel. Solid, and strangely accurate. I am staring at them vs my z101 irons and find they are very different but both amazing! My wife is being patient but that can only go so far.

I think hands down they are the most amazing club you can get for under $250 and worlds better than nike forged or all of the "made in China forged" "tour irons" out there.

I think this year I am going old school!

How do you tell the Macgregor forged PCBs that are not miura forged to the PCB Tours that are Miura forged???

Anyone? I know the lofts are weaker that's about all I can find on the web.

The Miura forged are PCB TOUR. The others are forged PCB. Different model.

I owned two different sets of these years ago. Sold my first set and switched to a forged Cleveland iron, couldn't stand them, and bought another set of PCB Tours. I was actually unaware until now that the forging was done by Miura. It's no wonder I liked them so much. One of my all time favorite sticks!

A set on ebay sold for $178. Great price for miura forgings.

Does anyone know if these are legal under the groove rules?

A friend of mine had a set of these. He liked them a lot until he tried to replace a misplaced 7 iron.

MacGregor PCB irons, either Regular or Tour Forged version, were RH only.

The LH MacGregor Tourney models were supposed to be their equivalent, but then, they weren't made by Miura....

They're not, unfortunately.

Soft feel forged, great turf interaction, frames ball very well, pw is not too big. Paired with Precision Rifle 5.5s. Most accurate shaft iron combo he’s owned. Easy to work. Classic. JP loves these sticks.
