MIURA RETRO Blades

Hi all,

Does anyone know anything about the Miura Retro Tournament Blades? They are the ones that have MIURA written in big letters across the top half (closest to the sole i mean) part of the mb. What do these things sell for? I only saw a set of heads on ebay and nobody had bid the fairly low amount he was asking.

Also, best irons for a 20 handicap early 60's guy with a tendency to hit fat when he misses (swing is as long as john daly's) these are for my dad and want to get him the good set either domestic or JDM doesnt matter.

Finally who makes the best sandwedge and how much bounce should i get?

They have longer heel to toe than their newer blades. Price varies, I paid for a set of 3-9 with nippon shafts for about $350 condition was 7 out of 10. I played them for one day, and rendered them up. I much prefer their mb001 to any blade out there. And much prefer the cb 57 to anything else out there.

S55's are a more conservative option.

I own a set and they will be my gamers for quite awhile. I paid 275 for 3-PW with Flighted 5.5 shafts and Bestgrips.com Gridiron grips. My miss is a thin shot but I when I do not play/practice, I do tend to miss my long irons fat and they dig in real easy. I have a short strong tempo swing and usually pick the ball clean and have a minimal divot. I love these clubs but the 501s will be more forgiving for a digger.

I don't get it though, why are they so cheap?? I mean arent miuras new or used supposed to be really expensive?

If you are indeed referring to Miura "Retro" blades they will look like this.... MIURA in lower case italics.....

They will be quite old....went out of production approx 10 years ago...non conforming grooves...one of the hardest to hit Miura irons ever made.

If your Dad is in his 60's and is about a 20 handicap and you want to get him some Miura irons....find a good set of PP 9003 irons...known as Passing Point's....good game improvement forged irons that he will enjoy and they will hold their value.

Clubs are not for my Dad I just thought that at $400 I can buy them and either keep them or if they are too hard to hit sell them at a large profit.

Forget on the profit. However Miura do hold value on used of course depend on the condition and type of IRons.
The PP 9002 is as good as you get for high handicapper.

The pics are in the link I provided...there is no way to make large profit on 10 year old clubs of any brand if you are paying $400 for them used........this post sounds like a troll to me... I am outta here
