Lie angle question

I need some help on iron lie angle adjustment. I have a set of Mizuno MX-900s. When I hit off a swing board the sole mark appears centered but when I check my divot the toe appears to lead the heel in striking the ground. My ball flight tends to be straight to right, but always has been with other sets. I tend to believe the divot and need to adjust the lie upward but would appreciate input.

When you swing at the lie board are you standing on ground level with the board? If you just set the board on the ground, the board will be above your feet, and could cause your mark to be off. And is your divot the same with all of your clubs, and also did you test on the lie board with all of your clubs, or just a couple? Are all the marks in the middle?

Level with the board and tested 5 and 8 irons. I notice the divots being toe deep more on the shorter clubs.

Well try some of your shorter clubs. A mistake many people make is when they fit lie they only test a club or two and fit the whole set off of that.

So try all of your clubs. On top of that there are quite a few people who need weges at a flatter lie angle than the rest of their clubs, so mask up all your clubs and go at it.

a good mark should be more towards the heel due to the board sitting just a hair higher than your feet.. remember ball flight is the determing factor when adjusting lie angle.. its hard to tell what is causing your toe to dig in. it could be the clubs are a little flat. or maybe you are coming in with your hands a little high at impact. either way it does sound like you need to adjust them if you want to help straighten out your shot a tad
