will changing loft affect the offset?

It seems to me if you strengthen the loft on an iron it will increase the offset and vice versa for weakening loft. Is this correct, and if so how much?

The change will not be noticeable unless you are changing loft by several degrees.

You're right.

Strengthening loft increases offset and vice versa.

Typically, it won't be that noticable until you start changing loft by a couple of degrees and more (and even then it's not a huge difference, unless you're pernickity with such things.)

The effect on bounce (even a couple of degrees) can be noticable however - particularly in wedges.

In addition to all the answer:

You need to know also where to grab the hosel with the bending bar to reduce the offset look when bending stronger loft, especially with tall hosel design.
