Anyone satisfied with Irons a YEAR or older?

Xhot irons lasted two years until my ping g30s. Usually when using pings they have a five year bag life. These might be longer since realizing its me not the clubs that hit those bad shots.....

switching back and forth between MP32 and MP64s.. tried the latest but keep coming back for that mizzy goodness feel.

these days the 32s still get more playing time.

nothing produced in the last 5 years feel as good to me, maybe JDM irons but haven't gotten my hands on any.

I have a set of Mizuno MP30's that keep working their way back into the bag. I bought them new in 2003 and I have bought several iron sets since to take their place but always go back to the MP30s. Been playing the Srixon i701 but changed grips on the MP30s yesterday so they will probably be in the bag this weekend.

I play a set of TM RAC MB TP's that I plan on using until they wear through. I'll admit the Vapor PC's call to me as do the new J15 offering from Bridgestone.

I like being able to snag older models for a lower price, especially since many of them are just as good as current models.

Yes. I see no need to change my Apex Edge Pro irons. I think iron technology, like wood technology is maxed

out. I see a lot of the advertisements as smoke and mirrors. It is not "RocketBallz" science. Badges and fancy colors don't change the the playing characteristics of the club.

712 AP1s and haven't given changing much thought at all. Only mildly interested in what the 716s may look like.

Playing the J40 CB right now and loving them. Cannot imagine that the newer sets are that much more better and or forgiving. These things feel as nice as the mizunos I've played in the past.

I've been playing the Clevelands in my sig for nearly four years now and the person who had them before me had to have played them regularly for at least two, if not three, years. As a cast club with box grooves, I would wager that I could play them for another 10+ years and not experience any decline in performance. As such, I don't see any reason to switch anytime soon.

MP 53s for me. I've tried a lot of other irons over the past two years and even sold the 53s a couple of times but they just keep coming back. Best combo of feel and forgiveness I've been able to find.

A year plus with the S55's in the bag. Haven't even considered anything else since. The biggest change I made was sticking a couple i25's at the top of the set but even removed those recently. The next time I look at new irons will almost certainly be when the S55's successor is released, and that will depend on if anything changes enough to warrant the switch.

I have had the Amp Cell Pro since they came out. I love them and don't see a change coming anytime soon. Maybe it's just me but they seem pretty forgiving for a small club head.

That said, I am looking to start building a collection of blades that I like, but the ACP's will be the permanent gamers.

Still playing Callaway Razr X irons and have for the past several years (they must be 4-5 years old) and am very happy with their performance. Probably going to look to upgrade next year but for now I'm still very happy with them.
