Spikeless

How long do the spikeless shoes hold up? I can't convince myself to invest in them when I feel I will wear them down quickly.

I rotated 2 pair of FJ contour casuals for over a year before receiving a third pair. All three have been used for over 3 years now. The multiple nubs (basically rubber spikes) barely show wear. I read a reason for such good wear, is that there are so many, that the weight is more evenly distributed. As opposed to a shoe with much fewer, spaced further apart soft spikes which tend to wear faster.

I usually have them on from the time I leave the house, until getting back home. They have not been used for non-golf, regular street use.

I play 70 rounds/year (walking), and i change my ecco biom hybrids every 2 years. They are still in decent enough shape to cut the lawn in:)

We all seem to be assuming you are referring to the Ashworth or Ecco type as mentioned by others with the nubs on the bottom? The Freddie Couples- Justin Rose(I believe) type? They are pretty sturdy nubs and you are walking on grass so not much wear at all. I have pairs I have had a few years and the bottoms still look brand new.

I ve had mine for 2 years now and I won't be replacing them yet. I play once a week and usually get to the range once a week also so I've worn them quite a bit.

I'm on my 2nd pair of Ashworths in 3 years. I use shoes with spikes when I ride and these when walking. The nubs on the heel wear quicker than the rest of the shoe.I play a lot BTW.
