Which sunglasses do you play in?

Simple question...

A few years ago I considered getting a pair of golf specific sunglasses because all of the pairs I own are polarized. I read that polarized sunglasses are no bueno for golfing, as the polarization process means issues with depth perception. I also have a hard time with glasses staying put during movement.

What do you play in?

Regular perscriptions, no sun glasses. Bifocals SUCK.

I wear Maui Jim's on the course, but can't use them to putt or chip.

I remove them to swing any club. They sit on my head just fine until I put them back on in the cart or am walking. I don't wear a hat.

Oakley Flak Jackets with g30 lenses.

I own tons of sunglasses and wear them all the time.... but not on the golf course. I just don't like to wear them when I'm hitting a shot and taking them on and off doesn't work for me either. So... I squint.

I used to not be able to play with sunglasses at all, but my wife got me a pair of Costa Del Mar Tuna Alley's with the 580 lens and I can actually play with these on. They are polarized, but they don't seem to bother me as much as other sunglasses have in the past.

None. Tried wearing sunglasses a few times and hated it. I also dislike wearing sunglasses while wearing a hat and unfortunately my forehead has grown too much to go without a hat.

Just oakley flak jacket xl's. If i were to wear them in public i'd feel like a d bag from the 90's. But under a golf hat they actually work pretty good.

Smith Optics Pojekt polarized. I prefer to take them off to swing, but if the sun is in the right place i will leave them on. I have worn contacts for 20 years and have a slight sensitivity to bright light. I almost never wear them on or around the green.

Oakley Flak Jacket XLJ with Prizm lenses.

I couldn't stand wearing sunglasses until I discovered the Flak Jacket XL with Prizm lens. Very comfortable pair, fantastic lens and I don't lose the ball periphally when I swing.

I also have since acquired a pair of Fast Jacket XL with the bronze iridium I believe. Although they don't weigh 5 lbs they are noticeably heavier than the Flaks and just a hair not as comfortable.

Another vote for the Oakley prizm lenses. Wear them in the radar lock frames. Used to have the other lens that were fairly golf specific as well (g30?) and I find the prizm to be superior. I've also heard that polarized are not optimal for reading greens as they detract from some of the visual cues for break.

Kaenon Arlo with C28 polarized are amazing and they don't look super dorky like most of the Oakley's.

I had some Oakley's with G30 lens that were pretty good, but didn't like styling and the Kaenon lenses seem a lot clearer than the G30.

Check out the Kaenon site as there are tons of options and you aren't shoe-horned into a 'golf-specific' option. I think the Grey or Copper lenses are both great for golf.

Polarized Oakley Radar Lock's. I love the wrap around shield the Radars have.

Costa Del Mar triple tails polarized. Not on the greens or chipping.

I prefer not to wear sunglasses during my rounds, but when I did wear them I used Maui Jim's.

Rudy Project Zyon with lenses from Sports Optical in Denver. Polarized with a tint between brown and red. Distance Rx. The only time I do not wear sunglasses is when it is overcast or late in the evening.

About 50/50 wearing sunglasses. I have Oakley radars.
Problem is I have a big beak so there is a gap between the lens and my cheek.

I wish I didn't have to wear sunglasses at all, but the eye doctor said I must. Had the G30's switched to Prizm's.

Oakley XLJ. I like them but I wish the frame would block out the sun at the corner of eyes.

Nearly every shot, every round, fast jackets with VR28 blue iridium lenses.

Always thought about making the jump to G30 lenses, even perhaps the prizm lenses in the new flaks. But, I don't have any complaints to justify moving from the VR28s.

Ray Ban New Wayfarers. They're just my normal sunglasses but I think they work well for golf, surprisingly.

When ever on the course, I wear Oakley Jupiter Squared with G30 prescription lenses.

Oakley Flak Jacket XLJ w/Prizm.

Had to wear my Oakley Jupiter Squared once and they were more secure than I thought, and plenty of coverage for a lifestyle frame.

Oakley Over the Tops when absolutely necessary.
