The holy grail... The XL/XXL Golf Hat exists

I've been on a quest to find a golf hat to fit my above average sized cranium for quite some time. Sure a 7 5/8 fitted baseball hat would work but its not as cool as the mesh flex fits I see at golf Galaxy or the one Spieth rocks every week. The L/XL has never sufficed looking stretched and squeezing down on my melon. After contacting manufacturers to no avail I had all but given up. At last my quest ended just a couple days ago. I happened click the link at PGAsuperstore to see the new Under Armour lids they had release thinking myself it would never be so. Showing a XL/XXL I thought it was a mistake or a misprint but today it arrived. Pardon my excitement but I have been looking for a long time and a rep at Under Armour had told me they just didn't have a enough demand for us big heads.

Congratulations! As someone with a 7 3/4 hat size, I'll be ordering one, too.

7 5/8 here also. I wear quite a few 7/58 fitted new era caps when I play.

I will say however it is shocking how different a 7 5/8 hat will fit from the SAME manufacturer. I have some that are perfect, some a little tight and some a little loose all from new era, all 7 5/8.

Yea I have several new era baseball hats and they all fit differently. Some tighter than others. The large/XL fits but the crown gets stretched so it looks funny. On under armours website they had a random color or 2 with XL/XXL so maybe they'll add them permanently but PGAsuperstore has most of the colors.

Just ordered 2. I wear size 8 so i hope it fits!

I had to return mine. Great looking hats but still too small. I wear a size 8 new era fitted. These fit closer to 7-5/8

I wear a 7 5/8 fitted hat and the L/XL Nike Tour Flatbill hats this year are even a tad too big/loose on me. They also have a bit more stretch to them.

Glad to know I'm not the only one afflicted with the bulbis dome...these are the best I have ever found:

What size fitted hat do you wear? I've never had luck with l/XL hats.
