Shorter Golf Shorts

Does anyone have any recommendations for brands of shorts that cut their golf shorts above the knee. I'm 6 foot and about 180 lbs and I'm sick of shorts that are too long.

I would preferably like the tech material as well but at this point I'll take anything that doesn't feel like a pair of capris.

I would appreciate links to specific shorts if possible. Thanks guys

The new Adidas 3 stripe shorts are cut shorter than previous years. I am 6'2" and the new Adidas come just above my knee

Linksoul has the best shorts out there by a golf specific brand. They hit above the knee on me and I wear a size 32. I think they're called the walk short or walker short. They look like golf shorts but feel like a board shorts.

I am on the shorter side (5'10") and I have given up on finding tech material shorts that fit me. The sloppiness of American style has drifted into the golf realm where it is now "cool" to wear shorts that are way too long. You can always buy tech shorts and hem them, but that's not always the easiest process.

I stick with classic brands chino shorts. Ralph Lauren, Brooks Brothers, even some of the new "southern" companies like Southern Tide, Southern Proper, etc. make chino shorts that come down to the top of the knee or just above. They are cotton, obviously, but they don't feel like capris.

The under armour " stretch waist band" are shorter than most and come just above my knee.

Grand Slam shorts from Kohl's are great for the price.

Just get them hemmed anywhere from $8-$10 a pair, I do a 9" inseam right above the knee

I have all nike shorts they are perfect after!

I am your same exact size and build. I need 9" inseam (prefer 8 or 8.5") and the Lululemon shorts fit me (they are 9") or I get them hemmed. I have most all of mine hemmed to 8" unless they are slim fit and then I go 8.5". They hit me about an inch above the knee that way.

J Crew has shorter hems and a trim cut. Strong reccomendation. Good quality.

Travis Matthews are 10 1/2. Nike and UA for 11 inches for the most part. I'm 6'2 and the Matthews shorts work for me.

These. I just bought 2 pairs and they rock.
Another brand I found that fit above the knee are Greg Norman Tech shorts. TGW had a huge sale on them last year so they might be discontinued now. I ended buying 8 pairs at $25 per. Great shorts.

Ping sensor cool shorts have 9" inseam.

I'm 5'10" and the only shorts i buy are Vineyard Vines' 7" inseam, perfect length

Just go over to the ladies' clothing section of the pro shop. You want short...they have it.

Have you noticed what they wear for shorts nowadays? Jeez, not too far from bikini bottoms. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

And don't think for a second that I'm complaining. I think that is the idea.

Get real aggressive and check out Chubbies shorts.

+1 on the Adidas. Just picked up two pairs for the same reason, I like the trend of shorter shorts. Be aware that some of the reviews complain about them being too slim. I like them cut more slim so I love them but just a heads up.

Maide golf shorts. Hurley (Nike) makes some dri fit chino shorts that are pretty nice. All hemmed up about an inch. I'm 6'2" and most shorts feel long. Can't imagine what the shorter crowd is doing unless they like the below the knee look. Above the knee is the way to be.

Lululemon makes some great shorts and offer some with a shorter inseam. I have a couple of pairs and they're great.

I went into lulu lemon and picked up a pair of the 9 inch shorts. I am very happy with the purchase (a bit expensive) but they are legit.

Chaps are definitely shorter, but you being 6' they may wear a little short for you. I'm 5'8" and they fit right above the knee for me. I got tired of the ones that fall below the knee, at my age, I don;t need to look like a teenager or a younger guy wearing the Pumas or Adidas.

I end up getting all of mine hemmed. Well worth the $12 or so it costs. That way I don't limit what shorts I can buy due to inseam size.

This year's under armour shorts, with the little UA logo at the pocket stitch on the side, are definitely shorter than in previous years model..might even be 8 in. hem. Perfect. Every other brand I have tried have gotten ridiculous with the length of shorts, the worse offenders being puma and Oakley.
