***ATTENTION***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT***ATTENTION***IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT***ATTENTION

Last year, in an effort to improve the capability of our forums, we switched to new software. We expected tremendous scalability and rapid customization that would significantly improve each Member's experience across multiple devices and integrate flawlessly with social media platforms.

Unfortunately, after a significant capital expense, we have decided that the length of time and the additional cost to reach our goals make this enterprise untenable.

Thus, we have made the difficult decision to transition the forums to our original software platform. We’re excited that, in the nearly two years since we began the process of our most recent switch, our original platform has been upgraded significantly, and we are confident that the reversion will not only provide the stability that we desperately needed prior to our last move but will also return to the Membership the high level of customization that made our online community so great. We have also added technical resources to the GolfWRX staff that will allow us to build custom modules and modifications that we are confident will take the forums to the next level.

We remain the world's largest online golf community, and we still hold true to our core values and mission statement as written in 2005. Bearing both of those elements in mind, being the best and offering our Members a platform that is world-class are both requirements, not options, and it is that spirit that has motivated this decision.

So, please pardon our mess over the next five days or so while we transition the forums.

A few important notes: Current content will be accessible during that time, but the forums will be READ ONLY, and you will not be able to start new threads or reply to posts. Personal Messaging is enabled but PMs sent/received from the time the board was frozen will not carry over. We know this is inconvenient, and we apologize, and we greatly appreciate GolfWRXers bearing with us through the transition.

We are very excited about starting this next chapter for GolfWRX and getting back to the high-quality Member experience we all expect as soon as possible.

Nah, I've won about 10 things over the years. All were exactly as described. Best ebay seller out there.

Like I’ve said before roll the dice if you want. It’s not even debatable they shill bid and cancel orders when they don’t get their minimum price they want. Keep buying from them if you want but don’t come on here crying when you win an auction and they tell you they overlisted and are out of stock while having the same thing still listed 10 times. Maybe your e6’s won’t be sent COD.

That’s a strange, aggressive response that doesn’t answer my question. I’m not trying to be confrontational, just trying to figure out your angle here/ add context. I’ve bought from them in the past with no complaints, but I’m not willing to say that there isn’t the chance that something can’t go wrong with an order. I just can’t personally say that the seller is doing anything worse than having a poor control over their inventory and overselling items from time to time. Maybe it’s nefarious, but maybe it’s just a small time operation overextending itself. I’ve never experienced the shill bidding he’s been accused of, but it seems like others suspect it. I just am not willing to pass up good deals out of fear based on internet hyperbole. Most participants in this thread over the years have given personal experiences, but I haven’t read yours that’s lead you to aggressively confront everyone who has a positive experience to report. So, why? I’m honestly and curiously asking.

And, what is this constant reference to e6s? I’m not following that one in the least, though I admit to not having read every single post in this thread over the years. Maybe you could catch me up on that one?

I always buy my wedge sets from ksouth. (Except the RTX4s I got through Cleveland’s $99 deal). 3 wedges for $100-$120. Never a problem and never any complaints. Every time they arrive quickly and in factory wrapping.

I don’t have any experience with this seller, so nothing to add there.

But I truly believe the shill bidding is very prevalent. I can’t remember which big seller I was trying to buy from a few years back. But multiples of the same item(s) all ending last minute, within a few dollars of each other, with very similar bidders. No, I doubt anyone is going to have actual proof, but it sure stands up to the eye test. Where there is smoke........

And people ask why? When you sell that many items, if you put a reserve on each one, those fees add up. It’s a good way to ensure your final price without having a reserve. I am kind of surprised they don’t list stuff as Buy it Now.

Sorry to quote myself (especially a post that was basically already mostly off topic); but oh well.
I think the really bad big outfit for shill bidding was 3ballsgolf. I don’t know if they’re even still around.

Anyway, sorry for the distraction, carry on!

This thread is less about ksouth and more about different people seeing the world differently IMO. Some people see someone do something immoral and as long as it doesn't affect them and they get their good deal they are happy to look away. Others take offence to the perceived immoral behavior and decide they don't want to support that person even if the deal is good. Even if they don't get burned they know someone will and want to do their small part in not perpetuating that.

Ksouth shill bids. You have to try really hard to not see that based on ebay and wrx reviews alone. How you feel about that is just a microcosm of how you see the world. No one is changing either side's mind about that in this thread. Like MB vs CB, what is the point?
they definitely use the overship excuse quite often, i don't get why they don't just use a reserve.

that being said when i have bought clubs from them i've got the best deal, fast shipping and everything is great. so, if you're trying to win brand new clubs for 20 bucks you're probably gonna end up disappointed..

I think setting a reserve is a one way ticket to not get top dollar for your item. Yes, you are guaranteed that you will get X dollars. But, they also seem to be the listings with little activity. I know when I see it, I typically pass. I think it has something to do with people wanting to perceive that they are getting a deal. That it is a true auction. If the seller is guaranteed to get what they want for it, it feels like less of a deal.

I don't bother with Reserve auction items. I know many are the same way. If you have a bottom dollar price you want from your item, start it there.

They just did it again. I “won” a Honma 3wood and received a message a day later saying they oversold the 70s version and were refunding my payment. I responded asking about the other listings on same item and was told they were being taken down. Guess what? They weren’t and in fact they have listed more. Never again for me from ksouth9 after my experience and reading this thread.

Sorry for your loss, but one less bidder I have to compete with when looking for BNIP items at a discount!!! Their sh*t is legit, they have super fast shipping, great pricing, and what you actually receive is usually in better shape than you expect for what you paid.

I didn’t dispute the authenticity , and how is “better shape” possible when the item is new? I am not the first to say they do this. Perhaps you could explain how they can say they are out of stock on the item won and yet continue to sell them? I asked about the other auctions and was told they would be taken down “as soon as possible “. Not only were they not taken down they listed more.

But you’re right. You won’t have me competing with you on a ksouth9 auction again. Perhaps if word gets out you won’t have any competition. But oops, that means everything you top bid on will be declared out of stock/oversold.

Long time lurker, first time poster. I’ll find out about my first ksouth9 experience tomorrow. Recently ksouth, quickship, and t2g have posted big lots of MD4 tactical wedges. I caved and bid on a set, and won. A 56.10 and 60.10 will be delivered tomorrow, and I’m currently watching a 52 that ends tonight.

So, the question as to the authenticity of his clubs is generally that they are the real deal? I’ll take them to my local store and compare markings and all before I got taking the packaging off.

Yes. They are legit. Bought a dozen or so items from them and never had an issue. Always shipped quickly and product was exactly as described.
