Ping Glide ES or Ping Eye2 BECU Lob Wedge?

Got one spot left in my bag and I'm going to add another wedge bent to 62 degrees. I currently bag two glide WS wedges (54 / 58) and I really enjoy them. However the allure of the original Eye2 in BeCu (square grooves and all) is hard to resist. Of course... there is about a $100 difference as well!

What say you good people of WRX.... which should it be?

Hard to believe that the voting has been out of control!

Put an original in play if you can get one in great condition. You can always get a Glide ES later.

I play a pat pend Eye 2 SW as well as the ES Glide..... They are different

IMO it depends on what you're wanting it too do....

It's mainly going to be for greenside bunkers and flops (however the 58 is pretty decent at those). I'd also pull it out when I wanted to play a full shot from say about 50-60 yards.

Also.... love your set make-up Animal. Do you find a big difference between the hybrid and 7 wood? I carried a 7 wood forever but dropped it as the Karsten hybrid went just as far.

Bunkers: Eye 2 for its stopping power, but again I've played it FOREVER
Greenside flops: tie really
Fairway: ES just easier to get right

I get about 15yds more out of the 7wd over the 4h....way higher in the air as well

go for the eye2

Eye2 or what? There's a choice to be made? If you have one whether you use it or not hold on to it they are getting harder and harder to find in good shape..

Eye 2 becu baby! As someone said... I can always get a Glide later!
