Rory Wearing New Nike LC4's

Didn't get a chance to see the golf tourney yesterday but looks like Rory is wearing a pair of LC4'S today.

Hideous. Is Nike's design theory to make the ugliest thing possible and see if the masses will jump on the bandwagon regardless?

Kind of distracting at address!

Still the LC3, not LC4. Just swoosh added on toe. Very ugly

Also agree the swoosh is a little much for golf. Easy skip for these.

Eh...I would have probably gotten a pair if they weren't in white/orange. Maybe white/grey and I would have tried them.

You can go to gg and get lc3s for 100$. Nike wants you to pay 70$ more to move the swoosh to the toe. This just makes the shoe look like a soccer cleat. Ridiculous.

I could dig it if it was more subtle.... Maybe like a light gray swoosh. But I could learn to like em. Hated the TW 13's at 1st look but those grew on me and became my fave golf shoe for a long while

For me, it's not that it's distracting, it's that it looks completely stupid to me (I'm not a fan of big logos on anything). I really hope Nike is not going to be doing this on all of their shoes now. I'm a huge Nike fan as their lasts tend to fit me much better than the ones that other companies use. If they do this on all of the colorways, I'm going to be need to finding a new shoe brand (or buy a bunch of the previous versions).

And I'm pretty sure the whole swoosh on the toe thing started with the Mercurial which is the top soccer shoe so maybe it's a nod to Rory and his favorite sport to watch (and hopefully not play anymore)?

Was speaking purely from a design aspect. From address they mimic the uppers of the KD and LBJ, which are nikes best selling shoes. The uppers on his and the LBJ low are very similar outside of the FlyWire expose.

I'm a huge nike fan... but the toe swoosh on a golf shoe just doesn't fit for me. Looks good on soccer and football because when in motion it looks sweet.

What in the world do you guys mean too distracting? lol c'mon now
