For you guys playing Fortnite, how old are you? The only people I know that play it are my son and his friends who are all 8-10 years old lol.

I'm 30 and get dominated by kids. I've never been so bad at any game. Ever.

I'm 34 and played on Xbox, but I got super tired of it pretty quick honestly. I feel like its run its course, I'm very surprised its still as popular as it is. I'll give them that they're super fast to update and add/fix things, but I felt like I needed a Redbull IV to keep up with some of the gameplay and building. I've gone back to my Destiny 2 and am very happy. I wish I could gift all the skins I had on Fortnite to people and my remaining VBucks, I think I have a couple thousand still loaded onto my account.

36 here. Played it for a few months with some friends. At it's core, I like how they manage it. It's free to play with a pretty reasonably priced season pass that nets you a lot of items. Plus, you earn enough V-Bucks to buy the next season pass. I was pretty casual when I played, not getting in a ton of hours and it showed. I could help the team, but when it got hectic, I was usually the first one dead. I was excited for Blackout so I didn't have to worry about building. I enjoy that quite a bit more. I am now just getting frustrated with the low quality hit detection in that game mode. Taking a week or so away from it to curb my frustrations and reset my expectations.

Mid 40s - I like Fortnite because you can jump on and only play for a half hour if you want. Unlike older battle royale style games, when you die, you are back in another match in 60 seconds or so. There are minor things I could nitpick about it but the game is free so I will enjoy it for what it is. Blackout is equally good. I think the sites are a little too spread out and there's a little too much travel - but thats just my perception, it might not actually be true.

RDR2 is on a whole other level. Its really that good. I actually havent played the other two since it came out. Some of the minor things astonish me. Like the effort that they put into the different sound effects in the game is absolutely incredible. I've spent so much time on side missions and just general messing around that I'm still only on Chapter 2 and in no real rush.

The benefit of doing the story missions are easy money and unlocking better weapons. I just got the bolt action rifle from a story mission and am glad for it. And I have about $3K in cash.

But that said I still love to "create my own adventure". I got so wrapped up in open world exploring, robbing, hunting, and wreaking havoc across RDR2 land that one day Charles Smith rode up on me and said he'd been tracking me for days and said Dutch and the gang were concerned about me and asked me if I wanted to go back to camp. This is one of those minor things you mentioned. LOL it actually made me feel guilty for neglecting the gang!

So much wonderful detail in this game.

I also haven’t touched Fortnite or any other game since RDR2 came out. Hands down my favorite game ever. So much to do.

A little advice: Make sure you have ample time to play when you get to Chapter 5. The missions get longer and longer with no opportunity to save your game until you completed the mission. I just played a Chapter 5 mission that took 1.5 hours. I wasn’t expecting that. I was used to the usual 15 minute missions.

It's a great game that is very involved and detailed. You have to manage yourself, your camp, your horse and your reputation. You can either be an outlaw or you can be a good guy. The choice is yours. I highly reccomend doing some research on YouTube before you play it.

RDR2 "protip": craft flaming arrows especially for killing the KKK. I came across three of them erecting a cross to burn, and rather than seeing what would happen if I tried to talk to them, I waited until they were all close together and then shot the leader in the head with a flaming arrow. He caught the other two on fire and they all went down in flames. Literally. It felt so good to do that regardless of missing out on a side mission. I am now committed to hunting and killing all KKK members this way. (Well that and throwing dynamite at them.)

Dang that sounds like it would have been a good sight to see. But I just had to do it for my homeboy, Lenny. After the drinking "mission" with him, he is the only gang member that I am nice to. All others I always antagonize. But my man Lenny is my homie after the hilarious mission. So I'm gonna burn every KKK guy I see.

Don't want to add spoilers but the game is very trollish on the klan npcs imo the script is well worth watching and funnier than killing them yourself. I had a dynamite bow out on the first one but i had i feeling i should let it play out. Glad i did the cut scene was way funnier than me blowing them up. Same goes for the 2nd time.

Ok sounds good and will do. Thanks. I still hope there's a mission where I can take out an army of them. Saving flaming arrows and dynamite just for it. Or hoping a Gatling gun is available.

I read that the online beta is going to be released by end of November. Looking forward to it.

So I bit the bullet and I got a Fallout 76 xbox one x bundle for 429 which would've been 529 regularly. I went to trade in my s at Microsoft and they offered me 64 bucks for my console. That was way less than the 110 Gamestop was offering. So I went to a local small business that was 5 minutes away and I got 132 for it. I'm sure there's parents out there that would've taken the 64 bucks. It seems to load faster and it's native 4k. Now it's time to upgrade my internet from 150 over 150 to 300 over 300 for 8 bucks more a month.

My daughter is turning 18 soon and we a throwing a party at our house.

My wife really wants one of those arcade cocktail table games

We have looked at a few online, prices ranging from 1k to 4K

Now we have been told by arcade classics that you don’t want the tables with 19 inch lcd monitors as they don’t recreate the games from the 80’s correctly. However I think that with kids etc they will rather enjoy playing the Sega games on one with trackballs etc

Or are these a complete waste of money and it will gather dust in the corner. I used to love playing these old Pacman Donkey Kong games, or as I said earlier a complete waste of money

No experience with those box style arcade games. However we did have a Golden Tee for a bit. It was a blast to play when we first got it, but the novelty sort of wore off through the years. Especially with the new releases of gaming systems. After a while it got no play at all and when we sold the house, the Golden Tee was sold with it. Same with our Shuffleboard, fun party game, but after a while, saw no play. The pool table however, now that's timeless fun! Still miss that thing.

Yesterday's release for multiplayer was only for Ultimate Edition owners. Today is the release for those that bought the game within 2-3 days of the single player release last month. Thursday should be the release to all owners.

It's a beta release so don't put too much stock in the current reviews. It's going to evolve based on user feedback of the beta version. From what I read is that there are rogues that like to ruin and spoil the team based efforts and missions but to me that's part of a wild west multiplayer game...gotta watch out for "bad guys" that like to ruin your day!

I have the Special Edition from release day and now my opening game screen has a toggle option in the upper right for switching between 'story' and 'online' modes. But, alas, when I go into online mode it just goes to a teaser 'Coming Soon' screen. Maybe it's not quite ready for even a beta release...

....aaaaaaaand back to Story Mode. Online play sucks hard. Not trying to play for 6 hrs just to make $5. The currency is jacked up, which leads me to believe when they open the Store you’ll have to buy “Gold” from R* in order to have any fun in Online mode. No thanks.

There's always a catch. Lol. Since I bought my x, I'm playing Fallout 4. I've had the game since 2016 and I have yet to finish it. I'm currently doing Far Harbor at the moment. Once I finish that and the rest of the main story, I'm going to start Odyssey.

Well I finished RDR2 and I've gotta say, Arthur Morgan is my favorite video game character ever. What a powerful, emotional ending! Such great writing and game play. The game played like a television series, movie, or book. Once I beat it I was just kind of in awe and didn't know what else to do

Finished the RDR2 Epilogues last night. I have to say it is by far the best game I have ever played and everything I had hoped Far Cry 5 would have been only 100x better. The character development in RDR2 along with the story the detail of the NPC's and the graphics all amazing.

Now to go grind out the last of the cigarette cards, legendary animals of the SW and challenges.

I haven't played the epilogue yet, well I picked up some sh*t in the barn and milked a cow lol. Are the cards/legendary animal pelts/clothes transferred over to John? or do you have to grind those out again too?

Legendary's are transferred over as well as any pelts you had sold to trapper previously. All cigarette cards are carried over too. Only thing that I am confused about is the dinosaur bones. I had previously found all 20/30 sites playing as Arthur, now that I am playing as John and the SW part of the map is open it shows 0/30 on the dinosaur bones.

Still can’t stop playing fortnite. I at least am better at shooting people. Not building though.

Black ops 4 is a disappointment. Blackout mode is super slow. They didn’t even make new maps. Just put old ones on there.

My latest addiction is theHunter: Call of the Wild. Literally can’t stop playing it. Definitely the most realistic hunting game I’ve ever played. Quick caveat: If you don’t hunt in real life, you’ll hate the game.

Been playing a lot of Black Ops 4 Blackout. Pretty fun, I like the slower pace of it in comparison to fortnite. Might give PUBG a try. Really into the battle royale modes. Might have to cop BFV on discount when their battle royale mode drops.
