Adidas boost wear inside heel

I am on my 3rd warranty claim with these . The inner heel wears after 3 months exposing a hard plastic

My pro says he has had numerous returns with same problem . My latest pair are in their way . Debating selling them on eBay and replacing with Nike lc3 or tw.

I imagine others have had this fault with what is otherwise a great shoe?

Mine are doing the same thing. Waiting for the season to end and the 2016 models to be available. Hopefully they will be replaced by a superior design. Or, I might just upgrade to the Asym's which have a different heel liner.

Seems like each pair of Adidas I have purchased has that exact inner heel problem. Instant blister. I think it's a walking thing. Socks get wet/sweaty and they tear up the cheap lining. Adidas is out for me.

PS - like a dope, I just bought a Climbacool shoe. Haven't worn it yet. I'm an idiot.

The boost shoes killed my right heel. I've worn nothing but Adidas for a long time and would have continued that trend, but it became clear after four or five rounds these weren't going to work. I tried Band-Aids and heel patches that go inside the shoe, but they didn't help much. I switched to Lunar Control 3, and while they aren't perfect, they are a lot more comfortable for me.

Mine have been doing the same thing! Especially in my right heel... I even bought a couple pairs of Kentwool socks to help with blisters and irritation on my heels, the socks have helped but I notice whenever I wear my Boosts the socks slide down easier than my other shoes. I just feel the material in the back of the heel is conducive to slipping up and down even if the sizing is right.... it's too bad really, because they are very comfortable, guess I'll just be using them to ride. Just started walking 18 at the beginning of this summer and finding a pair of shoes for walking is challenging.

I had the same problem as well, both sides started to tear after just a couple of rounds. I took them back and received a pair on warranty. Wore the 2nd pair once and then decided to look elsewhere. They felt exactly the same as the first pair so no need to keep going through that process.

Interesting. I have three pairs and none of them have had this problem and 1 pair is just about as beat as a pair of shoes can get in a season as far as looks go.

The Adipower Boosts still look pretty great considering how much I have played and practiced in them. My Boost Sports though look like I went through the Amazonian jungle twice. I got them muddy once and the dirt and much have ruined them. Just like the Crossflex shoes a couple years ago

Same here. 3 pairs and no problems with 80+ rounds this year. Athletic shoe cleaner has kept mine looking really good, although I am pretty OCD and clean them after every round before I put my wooden shoe forms back in them. Guess I'll consider myself lucky! Still the best golf shoes I have ever owned.

Here's my experience having owned several pairs over the last 5-6 years. I too experienced heel wear on two pair of tour 360's I bought. I normally wear a 9 shoe and when I tried them on, the 9 was too tight and 9.5 felt just right so I went with the 9.5's. A few weeks later, the shoes started to stretch out and not long after, the heels started wearing from heel slippage. The next two pair I got were ATV M1's and this time I bought only one pair in a 9 which again felt too tight. I stuck with them and they too eventually stretched out but this time there was no heel wear. I then bought another pair in white and again no heel wear. This year I bought some Boosts in 9, which were very snug when new, and after roughly 25 rounds on each pair, I still have no heel wear and the shoes fit like a glove. Your experience may vary but the fact that Adidas shoes fit tightly when new may lead to people buying a larger size then they should. You heel should not move around in a shoe and if it does, it will cause wear..
