Desert Pines GC - Las Vegas

Has anyone played Desert Pines in Las Vegas? I booked a round for while I'm out there later this month and it seemed like a good deal; $110 for an "all-inclusive" package that includes greens fees, cart, range balls and all food and non-alcoholic drinks while you're at the course.

Meh, It's very tight, extremely short (tips are 6200) and practically every lie you get is an uneven lie. I am not a fan although I have only played it a handful of times.

The range is an all mat range, there is no grass and it's only about 250 yards long but with net all around it. Not a fan of that either.

I'm not real sure how much non-resident rates elsewhere are, but I would certainly check out other sites like Lastminutegolfer or whatever because you could probably get a better deal at a better course.

You can book a round at TPC las vegas for $100 or so depending on day and time. I would MUCH rather play there

I know I'm the minority but I found this course much more enjoyable than Paiute Wolf that I played the following day It's tight. I disagree with the comment on lies and you're not going there to pound balls the range right?. Only issue with your question is I payed $59 during peak in early March.

I played it two winters ago. Yes it's a little tight. It was in good condition and not too crowded. I paid somewhere around $90 on a late Saturday morning.

Agree with robrey, very short and tight but also fairly easy to play. The main issue with the course is conditions of greens which are often pock marked with unrepaired ball marks.

Skip the range unless you really need to warm up.
