Couldn't agree more. And I've always liked SC. But their newer stuff is just so blah...

Wish I held off on my X5 purchase as the slightly larger X7 is likely more stable.

Haha. Hate to pile on but these are Odyssey #7 designs. And the X7M looks like a Jailbird with the #7 Versa 90 alignment scheme.

That said, I really like the feel of these new Camerons with the full face "insert" wrapping around the bottom of the putter. Now that was a good design!

X7M Heavy ordered just in case I can ever play golf again. Maybe I'll just use it to win quarters on the putting green. LOL

I don't think you can complain about having too many options.... it's great that there are many different options for many different players that need different types of help. The thing I don't care for so much is the machine/mechanical look of everything these days. It seems to be a little cold, like the artistic side is gone. I would like to see the days of multiple finishes offered without a trip to the custom shop.

Personally not interested..however seems like they are saturating their line. Way too many models out now a days

I got rid of my x5 because the footprint was too big. Now he made a bigger one? Yikes. Also don't like the hollow feel of these

These new fangled things are not my cup of tea. I like the one piece bladed styles, which means I've already bought my last new putter.

[/quote] Rep was at my club. I putted the 7 and 7m. I really thought I wanted the 7m until I saw them in person. I have been playing whitehot #7 for quite sometime. I am hopeful this will make it in the bag.

What about it in person put you off? Think about ordering an X7M

I've putted around with my Tour chromatic bronze I picked up a few weeks ago. Alignment is fantastic. Feel is very soft. However, there's something I dont like about it that puts me off. Not sure. Threw it on ebay so we will see what happens.

Anyone wish he wouldn't put lines on these ? They look so bad with the sight lines . To each their own but I couldn't put with the lines he has but would add a top line. Maybe custom order

I went and looked at all the Cameron offerings when I recently was looking for a new putter. I've always felt better looking down over a mallet type putter, but can't get on with the size and look of some of the mallets out nowadays. I ended up getting a Squareback. The size and look of it at address is perfect for my eye. Some folks don't like the Red Cross on the top, but I don't even notice it. Very easy to line up using the square shape, and the more face balanced feel suits me as I try to be more SBST. I hate the feel of the gated stroke. I realize it's about impossible to have a true SBST stroke, but that's the feel I strive for when I make a stroke. I putted around with the Futuras and the Golos, just could not get used to the look at address. They don't look like true Cameron's to me. But, that's just me. Everyone has their own personal tastes. Nothing wrong with liking or not liking them. If someone likes looking down on a TM Daddy long legs putter, more power to them. It's all about confidence in putting. And liking what you look down and see at address is half the battle.

No, no you're not!!
I tried the X7 today, hit a few balls in store and thought the feel was sublime, so much softer than the X5. I found it easy to line up and thought the ball rolled beautifully - I really liked it and then I saw the price tag - £320 here in the UK which is a bit steep for this - still, I am tempted, you never know!!!

I picked up a X7M yesterday bc I had some shop credit so it wasn't as painful of an entry point. My first impression was how easy it was to align and swing down the path. My second one was how soft the putter felt. It's not White Hot soft but not too far off. Can't wait to get it out on the course.

I might pick up the X7M tomorrow as well with some credit.

I'll putt with a shovel if the ball goes in the hole!!!!
