I played in the shark shootout pro am. I got in my locker: a SLD driver, leather gym bag, 4 golf shirts, a golf jacket, 4 sleeves of TM tp's, 2 golf hats TM & Shark, two hard cover books, and a sport watch. There may have been a little more stuff that i dont recall.

Hey RK, welcome to the board!!

It's great to have Ya :)

Yea, I've Played in a few, from the Hogan/Nike to the recent Web.com to some Tour Pro-Ams-

I'll just give ya my last Tour one which was the 84 Classic, sponsored by Joe Hardy, founder of 84 Lumber, and though his daughter Maggie had taken over the day to day operations of the company, this tourney was Mr. Hardy's Baby, lol.

My Pro was JD(Mr. Hardy had become a mentor and followed Eli Calloway in that capacity with John and Mr. Hardy was a patient of my Father's so yea, the fix is in on the top dogs in the Pro Ams, lol. What, ya think they draw a Guy's name outa the hat for Tiger or Phil, LMAO(this IS NOT directed at you RK :) ) and my Ams were two execs from 84, one a decent guy, the other a Putz, and some gym teacher from a nearby HS who won the spot in a lottery and for the local pub/press for the area. He was also the golf coach and was constantly asking John for practice drills to help his kids improve. It was annoying the hell outa me but John took it well and even had two of his younger Players who were following us walk in the fairway with us. The kids were great and in fact I gave this one my Mizzy 10 52° wedge because I heard him talkin about our clubs and he couldn't wait till he "could get a new club like that." It gives ya a little perspective-

Anyhoo, the Gifts-

- they took us over to the Scotty area where ya'll have obviously seen the pics on here and said "pick one."

-They gave us the choice between the Cleve Van and the Vokey and said, "pick 2 wedges." As I played Mizzy, I called my BFF Dave, who's a Titleist Boi to his core and asked what two wedges he wanted. He took a 54° and 58°.

- A nice new pair of FJ's, I forget the model but they were the new ones out that year, along with a sweet leather shoe bag with the tourney and my name engraved, "RP Jacobs II," which I carried my Edmonds in, lol. I have the FJs at home and have never worn em, lol.

-a rainsuit with the choice being Nike, Sun Mountain and Cally. As I could get anything Nike from Madison, didn't play Cally and didn't wear SM(I wear ZR & Bobby Jones) I again called my Dad and since he wore Sun Mountain, I asked if he wanted blue or black, lol.

-A dozen of the new Pro-V's

-3 FJ Gloves

-2 All-Grounds passes for the week and one VIP week long parking pass for me and a guest and 5 general passes for the week along with 5 gen admit parking passes.

- a pair of sun glasses, I forget the brand but it's the one that Freddie used to wear and again, as I wear MJ, I gave those away also, lol

Well, that's about as much as I remember, though if I think of anything else, I'll add it

Ok, Krats reminded me, lol, got a leather small carry/gym bag and two shirts, a vest and a cotton wind/pullover.

They were from that Millar Guy(if I misspelled it, cut me a break, lol, I wear Bobby Jones and RL) and the pullover was a XXL and was tight on my Bro, who's 5'11", 175, lol.

WTF????

Garbage, I don't care what anyone says. Just cuz he charges $175-200 for it, what, that makes it nice???

Okey dokey then ;)

Nice Schwag, definitely near the top from the one's I've received.

Oh, and I'd like to thank all the Titleist Bois, my Bud Davey included, for payin what ya pay for that stuff cuz you allow me and these guys to get some nice Schwag, LMAO

Keep Buyin Bros :)

Oh, and this was in '06, last year of tourney and Michelle was in the field, and she was two groups ahead of us. I met her briefly on the practice green prior and would play with her in Fla in '11(actually she was playin with Madison and another Nike Class A and I sponged along, lol. Two things, one, she hits the s*** out of the ball, and yea, total yardage, she had a couple of 3 billers and two, though I'm partial to blondes, she is more Beautiful in person and just as nice. She's the Real Deal.)

Lastly, two forum faves won the first two 84's:

Chris DiMarco(00) & Robert Allenby(01) and when Vijay won it, it was his eighth Victory of the season-

Again, welcome Bro, hope that ya enjoy the board :)

Fairways & Greens My Friend,
Richard

My dad played in the pro am for the senior event up here a couple years ago. They had a Taylormade proshop on site and I think we got like a $500 gift card for it. Got a little gift bag too but I forget what was in it, balls and gloves I think.

This sounds pretty cool. I have played in a few LPGA pro-ams and it included dinner with the players, a bunch of meals/booze throughout the week, two inside the ropes passes for practice rounds and VIP passes all week, free parking all week and then the gift bag was a Taylormade/Adidas pro shop credit (You picked a certain amount of items from each category and it added up to around $750 if you wanted the most expensive stuff)

I played in the John Deere Classic Wednesday Pro-Am last year. I received the following:

-Draw party on Monday night

-Played in a scramble at a local private club on Tuesday, then Pro-Am on Wednesday

-Dinner/Presentation at Deere HQ with Deere Chairman, Tim Finchem and Harold Varner as speakers (got to meet them, both really cool guys)

-$600 Callaway Gift Card

-Free pair on Maui Jim Sunglasses (picked from a selection on a tent)

-Shoe bag

-Player Badge

-VIP badges for wife and I for Wed-Sunday

-Signed/Framed pictures with Pro-Am team and Pro.

All in all, it was an awesome experience! The course was immaculate and players were great.

I played in the 2016(?) Sr. PGA Pro-am. Probably a mid/lower budget event but this was the package:

TM M2 DriverOlukai sandals - choice of modelSunglasses - Maui Jim, again choice of styleBottle of Woodford Reserve with logo engravedLogo'd golf shirtDuffle bagDozen tournament logo'd balls (ProV1 maybe?)Kitchenaid Stand Mixer (they are the title sponsor) mailed to you post eventI think that was it...

Oh and I played in the ShopRite LPGA pro-am last year. They gave points to be spent towards items from Callaway, Tiffany, etc. MSRP between $400-$600 depending what you got. Being that my wife was at home with a newborn I asked what she wanted. Her answer? Gift card to ShopRite. So...that's what we got.
