Taylormade M2 Irons (merged)

Does anyone know if there is supposed to be a Taylormade M2 Irons to be released in 2016?

I read there Is a line coming that's going to be called the M2, so I'm guessing they are legit. They also carry on the color scheme and the carbon.
I'm a pretty big TM homer, but I think they look pretty hideous.
I'd be curious to hear about the tech tho, Always intriged at what they come up with next, and that looks like a lot more carbon back there than just a cheap badge

Looks like rebadged Burner 2.0.

I'm no expert, but if I were making counterfeit irons, this is exactly how they would look.

Not coming out 'til late 2016. Stolen protos or expensive fake? Either way they look awful. Bring back the ICW5.

Very interesting. Could be the AB replacement. Look very Burner 2.0 to me. Have to see what is released and if it is M2

Way fake. I do a lot of stuff with TM and I have never even heard of these

Japan only? Imo if they were counter fit I highly doubt they would ask $1800 which brings a lot of attention.

I don't always log onto WRX....but when I do, there is always new TMAG product.

Not that you would buy them, even though seller has a 100% rating, he only has 45 sales. Buyer be ware!!

I thought they looked too good for some cheap fake. Plus, not being from China helped.

If they play like burner 2.0 great I think those were some awesome irons. But those don't look right. Why does the hosel have notches in them?

It looks like the listing was closed. Either they were fakes or possibly never should have been listed. My bet is someone at Taylormade needs some new underwear after seeing that listing and got it closed.

Probably thrown out there intentionally to get feedback on looks.

The finish quality looks too good to be fake. Would need some serious tooling to produce heads like that. The hosel design looks to remove weight and position it low behind the sweet spot. I would say this is the burner replacement for sure. As far as the badging, appears to look better or similar too the Psi series.

They have changed price like 5 times...

Yes, and what is this if not an unconfirmed pre-release.

Fake or not, I would wager this gives us a glimpse of something TM has coming out. While getting into the minds of criminal counterfeiters may not be a science, I would imagine it would be prohibitively expensive to design a club themselves rather than just lift something from one of TM's Asian manufacturing facilities.
