OK, This Bothers Me...

I'm old enough to remember how comfortable it was to play in pants that didn't fit like shrink wrap that hung below our butt cracks. The total length of modern pants now from the clasp or button to the crotch is now 3.875 inches. The pants makers are saving so much money on material, convincing people that tight, butt-crack things are "stylish," while charging us for real pants. I'm tired of being squished and squeezed.

It was so nice to play in pants like this:

Ah yes! I believe you and I suffer from the same thing -- generational awareness. The cure is to understand our advantage of old age wisdom and hindsight. Personally, I'm going to participate in Senior leagues and outing this year so I'll be around those with the same wisdom and hindsight of old age.

And, I'll be comfortable doing it!!

Later,

John

Maybe not as generational as you think.

Lol. I Go with slim fit, not skinny. My requirements are that I be able to run down the street in whatever pants I wear. If they are a strechy golf material they can be a touch slimmer. If they aren't very giving they have to be a bit bigger.

Yes. Bought my first pair of actual golf pants this year (Puma 5 pocket, very nice, would recommend) and they are stretchy. Protects the meat and 2 veg nicely.

In a year or two, the pants that the op speaks of will be back in style just like the tight sansabelt pants were in style before the baggy Khakis became the latest in style and acceptance.......
