Driver grip looks pretty slick. Time for a re-grip perhaps?

We need to remember this is right after an updated putter grip change and see how bad it looks by the end of next season. I never keep a putter long enough to nasty up the grip like he does.

They were, switched and missed at least on cut with them so didn't last long at all. The 714's were back in very quickly and his form came back.

That putter just looks like it sets perfectly square. Seems every time I pick one up at the golf shop they seem to set slightly closed or open.

You would think that he'd have the 716's in the bag during tournaments like this.

He uses the Rogue black. Everyone was using the silver, but pretty much everyone has since moved to the kuro xts

the raw wedges and putter are icy. does it look like the plastic is still on the sole of his 3 wood to anyone else? Love this guy!

Nobody said it was all the clubs' fault. He tried the 716s at the same time that his game developed some hiccups. Most likely just coincidence, but it was enough to convince him to stick with the irons he'd previously had a ton of success with. I think most of us can relate to that reasoning, faulty or not.

Think about how good he'd be if he played the CBs or MBs. It's a shame he'd rather take marketing money from Titleist than win tournaments

Really, as long as it comes out of [i]their [/i]tour truck, do you think they care what a top 10 player in world uses. Just as long as their names on it!

Well well well those pesky 714 ap2's ( Chris Morrison voice). Let's be real fellas the 712 ap2 irons had some cosmetic issues in the short irons offset was unsightly so they fixed that and the clunky sound was adjusted to sound/feel softer. Not to mention the deaign update looked sharp and classic so the 714 ap2 were and are awesome irons . . Enter the 716 ap2 all Tileist could do was the ole put more cheese on the pizza meaning add more tungsten and change the pizza box . Alot of us like the pizza just fine the old way I'm saying that to say this real golf revolution happens once every few years and is rarely a generational thing . Think SLDR TO R15 added more cheese to the pizza .Then TM released the M1 that was more revolutionary (allegedly)you get the point . It's awesome to see Jordan pass on the new model because it's not better than the old model. I know he wasn't the first to piss off golf companies but he was the first I noticed got to love Tiger he made it acceptable to play last generation equipment if it worked . Again Tiger wasn't the first to do so just the first I paid attention to .GOLF EQUIPMENT MAKERS GET YOUR GAME UP ! We aren't upgrading just because you put more cheese on the pizza and change the box anymore !! Well unless you make a sexy commercial that makes me feel like my old equipment is inferior and uncool I might .... Oh yeah you are already doing that damn you !!!!!

I have a soft spot for the ap2's and think they're one of the best multi piece irons on the market. If I were to jump ship from a one piece forging it'd be for the ap2 (or possibly the s55 replacement). Despite all of the talk about the 716 ap2 flop, if I were just getting into that lineup I would go 716 ap2 all day regardless of if the Spieth still prefers the 714.

How does playing CB's or MB's as compared to AP2's make you "better" ??? It's the person. Not the club. Ap2 is still a players iron. Not losing ability to work the ball.

I think if a ton of tour pro's are using them (or at least some combination of them)....there's nothing wrong.

Playing blades doesn't make you great. Your score does.

I am trying to understand just what you mean by this. Are you suggesting that Titleist is paying him extra money to play last years model AP2? because...... That simply does not make any sense.
