Rickie Fowler's Cobra King LTD driver: shot at 2015 Hero World Challenge

Stinks that he keeps missing the sweet spot by millimeters....

The headcover stinks, mine is a pain to put back on and it might just get replaced altogether.

Looks like this might be the same as the Bio Cell line where Rickie was playing a proto of the Pro head which had no Pro designation on it.

Very nice. That has got to be one of the best looking drivers ever. Is he back to the Whiteboard?

I heard high toe is one of the better places on the face to strike the ball

I just don't get the branding of this line of clubs! You would think KING is the manufacturer and not Cobra with the placement of the logo and prominence of the naming.

I think for some of us it just seems backwards since Cobra used to be King Cobra.

Is it just me or with the one picture looking straight on at the face, does it appear to have a very upright lie angle?

I get that. But he said you would think King is the manufacturer not Cobra. The club is called Cobra King Ltd. I just don't see how he came to that conclusion is all I was pointing out. Now if they called it the King Cobra Ltd I could see his beef.

It is the prototype version of the Reign Black I believe

Thanks for the clearer picture. Some more digging yielded more information that it is reign black g-70t. That shafts all business!

Found one on the bay. Apparently only 10 made. Not sure how I feel about that.

Aren't the Pro and Standard heads the same for the Ltd? I think the only difference is the adaptor??? I could not tell a difference in the shape of the heads in the store.

Pro head is lower loft. The head controls the loft not the adapter. The adapter changes loft within the possibilities of the head.

Both pro and regular Ltd head sizes are exactly the same. Only difference is pro is 7-10' with fade settings...regular is 9-12' with draw settings.

Both the pro and non pro heads have a built in loft measured without the adapter. The pro version has slightly less loft allowing a different range of lofts achievable with the adapter.

10* draw setting? ....right. Thought the first pics of this that were posted when he first started playing had the head labeled with a 6.5* sticker from the tour van or something along those lines

Cobra is doing it right with this one, that looks like a heck of a driver. All the hype when they first came out was about the spaceport thing on the bottom but face on and from above that driver looks awesome.

Love the the shape of the driver. Cant wait to try it!

Because the most prominent logo on the headcover is "KING", not Cobra. Unlike the classic Titleist script logo on a Titleist driver or the obvious logo TM has.

The King headcover is very similar to other Cobra Driver headcovers, at least the Fly Z and ZL Encore I currently have. The name of the driver is much bigger font than the Cobra font.
